The Co-op, Never say NEVER!

wouldn’t ya know it, I came in a little early to blow out some stuff…. try to not get any on ya…. and the lap top started updating …… crap!  My fault, I had continuously told it to hold the updates Krause it always wanted to do it at the worst time…. now u have to put up with smart phone plunking til the _£¥₩¥=÷•○|<>♤♤《□ thing stops it’s thing.

I hope I don’t cross your eyes doing this….. it is mine!  3% COMPLETE…… Oh stopit!

Just so ya know, this is not our “new high”, i’d kinda call this a new low position!   We’ve had a reorganisation on worker motivation starting this week and it look like we’re already seeing fruit.  no reason to go into it other than its all part of the growth and maturity of a positive business plan.  In other words “were kickin button and we’ve found a way for more work to get done…. all a good thing….

it says on the screen now, “Don’t turn off your pc, This will take a while, updates are at 9%……. I’m going out to survey Ruby, I’ll be back……  finish breakfast, I’ll be back later…..

I will say the computer runs a little faster now…. guess those updates are a good thing.  Don’t hit me John D.!

First… “never say never” I should first explain.  Forgive me a minute but lemme talk Airstream a moment.  You know those chrome tubes with wheels.  35 side cut down       (yes, we did this, matched the aluminum with platinum silver on the oxidized roof)

Well, the average cost of taking this to this Shiney-Airstream  is @ 9 hours of buffing labor per running foot!  That’s nuts!  I just felt it too extravagant for the common man….. Hey but what they hey, the paint/buff crew we have has the expertice so I took in this critter Lake Nona 7  Already buckets of cash spent to make it a bullet mirror Lake Nona 4 .A mobile office for a local developer we’re removing their old Logo, remove the “shark skin” protector that was put on it then re-polish that Hubble reflector Lake Nona 5

the guys will be polishing it with jewelers rouge and reapplying the companies new Logo……  Stay tuned for this!  Lake Nona 3  Now on to other fun, these folks have had a GMC since the 90’s, bought this one to keep that dream alive.  I actually worked with them back in the CLASCO days, well   actually Scott’s Grandad was the FMCA #37 member…. Wow! Scott ext 2 Anyway, the coach they picked up has had a good older restoration already with the paint scheme they like Scott ext 1 Now it needs new rims and tires and all the mechanical update we all know we need to have….. Scott ext 9 dump this bull-crap air bag rig  7.10.17 morning 7 for  a quad bag rear suspension Scott ext 7  How bout brakes?  I think so  7.10.17 morning 2

All new Timken wheel bearings…. the grease is flaking out in that pic above!  The Ole Troll is outa there, cleaned out with new 1 pound sheet goods sound insulation Scott ext 5 (1 sf of this sound insulation weighs 1 pound!… good stuff… $180 a 4×8′ sheet plus shipping), then we’ll put in their Honda, water cooled EV6010 Scott ext 12  Stay tuned as this beauty gets back on the road wowing everyone…..Scott ext 8

Picked up 2 new front visors… well actually Jim G. braved a stupid summer storm to go get these from the coast  Visor 1  Our mold was splashed off of an original Ocean Atlantic first generation mold.  Those original molds were destroyed in a marina fire years ago.  I asked permission to make a copy from the owner of the design… all of our visors fit!  One piece construction shipping is a bugger but the end result hey… many really like  Visor-on-Andy  I have an extra one, they’re $400 and shipping unless you can come and get it……

Heck, I like it on my luxury coach  JayGee-glamour-2Hey, it’s in the eye of the beholder!

OK, I need to go, Katlyn is finishing up on the bearings, brakes and quad bag on JD’s restoration 7.13.17 morning 1  his coach could be the next one out  7.13.17 morning 3  Stay tuned and we’ll see ya tomorrow……
