Vintage RV & Motorhome restorations - "The GMC Coop"

The Co-op, we’re closed…

Yeah but some of us just don’t know any better!  We have the coaches facing into the wind between 2 30′ building walls  hurricane-matthew-1

no trees on pavement… a very safe place to ride this out.  Miss Piggy is on the easy side of the building, Danavan tossed palates up on the tarp covering all that rare GMC Unobtanium!  white-seats-2

This destruction could be historical to the GMC parts world!!!

The outside parts are all huddled around my vintage Hunter C111 6 wheel alighnment machine….  hurricane-matthew-3 hold on boys… it’s too rough to feed ya!  Don’t let that main hatchway cave in….. put yer backs into it….  Yes… I’m being totally melodramatic…. but the trailer full of plastic body parts is the only thing in danger hurricane-matthew-4 …. yeah and a couple of Onan generators…. we’re only seeing thin bands coming in right now.  My son was evacuated from Ormond by the Sea so yeah, it’s commin!

We are closed but a couple guys came in to get a few hours in…. thanks guys.  Nancy & Willies dash area is coming together  white-dash-1  Stay tuned to e the outome….  Willie has been busy sanding out surface rust and refinishing his dinette seat bases white-seats-1  After descaping and all, Willie totally covered all sides of the steel seats with POR-15…. which leaves a rust killed hard ceramic like gloss finish.  The are reasy for pads…. and Granpa is worhing their new pad upholstery panels  white-seats-3.  With the dash going… seats getting built and the vacuum form walls coming in next week wow…. it’s goa be a fun time!

That is if we float through it!  I’ll be at my post tomorrow morning so stay tuned…. “hold my beer, this should be good!!!..”
