The Co-op, opening the shop

Mornin guys… and gals, tomorrow being my day, I want to show you a coach that has just come up for sale….  this one….

7.8.16-morning-16

It’s here in Orlando… it’s a 77, 23′ Birchaven rear bath.  A nice machine…. stay tuned tomorrow for that

But this morning I wanted to satisfy those that have Emailed telling me they enjoyed looking around the shop like I do in the mornings.  Hey, I was an only child, I had to look around and find things to amuse myself…..  Sunday I would ride my 3 speed English racer bike all over the construction sites and closed shopping centers……  that may be too much information but anyway, I enjoy exploring seeing what folks are up to…..

So to that end, I though it may not be too boring…. I could be wrong….. to walk with me opening the shop and describe some of the things I see.

OK so after lining our scooter and bike compliment for that day.  We use these things to keep from wearing out shoe soles walking!

7.8.16-morning-15  Hey I know it’s a bit on the obsessive side but I try and line up the fleet differently each morning…. I’ll stop….. so then after the front is open, I flip on 1 string of lights… hey the sun isn’t up quite yet…..  Today, John is coming to pick up is blue beauty  7.8.16-morning-1  After this coach leaves, you can see the staging of our parts/pieces palletizing of the main shop. All parts to any project will live on palates with the rims will go in first 7.8.16-morning-14  then across that far wall palate racks 3 high will store the named palates keeping clutter off the shop floor, keeping project parts all together and giving us our mail working floor to be used as it should be… to work!  It’s a bold move but one that just has to happen.

Going outside from the rear door I have found the sweet spot to stand to cool off….. in front of our screws (6′ wall mounted vent fans)…. must be a 30mph wind

7.8.16-morning-3.  Those are needed to keep the main work floor tolerable here in Florida.  Taking our aluminum path past the sump pump.. like passing past a waterfall…. that goes down!  7.8.16-morning-7   my morning duties have expanded now to open op the mechanical and paint buildings  7.8.16-morning-6  … first time is today.  We got the paint building door down to just one lock…. I kinda like the primitive look of the chain through to door handle hole look…..7.8.16-morning-12

Hey… check it out… looking right at the door there is an alleyway between the buildings….. wonder what’s back there?  7.8.16-morning-10  Walking past the beer cans, air lines and such 7.8.16-morning-11  WOW… check it out…. getting all that junk from the last paint guy out… bent fenders, trash, and other broke stuff man, there is a cool little spot back here 7.8.16-morning-9  It’s the building setback… tree covered shade and looking the other way my very own jungle 7.8.16-morning-8  coming out at the west side of the building…….  a neat spot…. I’ll have to remember this place.  see, this is all kinda of fun.. So with the paint building open… the 2 left doors need a little love 7.8.16-morning-5 I turn course to the main gate and being greeted there by Miss Piggy there in the middle and Larry and the Airstream to the sides is a great day in the neighborhood  7.8.16-morning-4

And the boat is ready to float too so the weekend has promise.  Florida….. hot summer and a boat, that’s what I’m talkn bout…
