The Co-op, Oh Stop all the fun!

This business is truly a team effort…. one member out of pocket and the rest must hold that spoke up…..  Jared is off for their family annual camping trip to South Florida so I’m back in THAT saddle again!  YeeeHaaaa, why do I feel like the cowboy riding that nuke in that classic film!

After the positive reaction Ross had on his shakedown cruise… you must remember his wheel came off grease liquefied and on fire as it passes him…. hey, you don’t see THAT every day I’ll guaranty that.  After finding the inspected and passed muster outer bearing failed in 24 miles…. the standard now is if you do not know… yourself the age of your rear bearings brother you just can’t rely on them…. replace them…. it’s that time!  4.20.17 morning 5  After a test drive with an operating air ride system AND all rear wheel bearings replaced…. I can pretty much say that won’t happen… but there was a FLN come up on the test drive…… what’s “FLN”…. sorry, gotta cut down on using those industry acronyms… that’s funny little noise!  From the front… under load or deceleration… driving straight or in a turn…….Hmmm.  The diff is making noise … delivery is tomorrow (that’s now) so get that thing out!!!  NOW mister!  And my Marine Veteran snapped to it!  4.20.17 morning 6  metal in the pan… get it out so this morning.. still dark 30, We’re ready to smack in another one 4.20.17 morning 1   Looks like we’ll pull it out… let ya know how we do.  Hey…. the diff wasn’t making noise and the oil was up….  as Forest Gump says….  It Happens…..  Hey, look at that lat pics again… other than the slammed black Ford truck in the background…. you could confuse this pic maybe to a shop in 1978… 2 clean, good looking original condition coaches side by side.  You don’t see nice machines like that often….. anyway,

Opening the back doo to an awesome looking sight…. Andy, say good morning to “Rock the Alps”.  4.20.17 morning 10Got word from Zip Dee your new awning fabric is in the mail.  We have the new tires ready to mount ….  as a style statement we’re putting “red line” pinstripes on the new tires…. pretty cool hey, stay tuned Andy finals 16 . .

and if I can get a little time this afternoon I’ll get the Ramco refurbished electric mirror set…. stay tuned…

Got a pressure leak test done 4.20.17 morning 9  One thing…. if your roof has leaks letting water leak down the walls… for sure it may the the side rails need servicing but it could also be leaks between the side window frames and the body.  Last week I had a job of replacing the late style window rubbers… you’ve seen that video on Patreon…. anyway one thing that wasn’t on the punch list was check for all other possible leaks… I kinda feel bad I didn’t seal the top seams of the windows… I was focused on the rubbers.  Yes, if it’s water you wanna stop.. not just making your windows work and look better, bag off the gap between the window frame and the body across at least the top of the window.  Put in some RTV sealant.. wipe it and pull the tape… in short, seal the tops of the window frames….. Hey my fault, communication is the hardest part….  So be sure you do this if you’re going for water leaks…

Danavan finished up a quad bag rear suspension on this 73 coach  .

4.20.17 morning 7 4.20.17 morning 8  Next are the new rims and tires….

4.20.17 morning 2 All the foam is out as much as we could get… that crack in the holding tank you see is repaired  (it’s an ABS tank, we could glue it with fiber mesh…. tanks are in, the coach is on the ground and it’s new radio is going in…. that delivery is tomorrow….. lets see how that one goes….

. like I said starting this post…. Oh stop all this fun!   The more work you put out the more stuff will go on… deal with it…. oh and welcome to my world….. see ya tomorrow… .
