The Co-op, it’s window day

I love it when the morning weather gal says it’s gonna be hot and muggy followed by light rain in the afternoon…… if you can’t read between the lines it means it’s gonna be outstanding hot today!  And I’m hoping to do window stuff and tint on 2 coaches today……. I’m gonna loose some water weight…….

Cedric’s Ruby now has all the slider windows rebuilt, sliding smooth and ready for it’s window tint.  cedric windows 31JD’s screens are out, the old film removed (man what a job) and it too is ready for tint.  Both of these coaches are going with the lighter color but still hi heat rejection ceramic film.

JD already has his Toll Booth windows installed, JD tint 3But wait, lets take a closer look at JD’s entry door window  JD tint 2 OK, it’s a slider window… 2 pieces of glass, a little harder to do than a single glass window but man that centerbar looks big!  JD tint 1  Holy crap…. the last tinter “gimped” the bottom of the glass with 1″ black pin stripe tape!  You would never have known just looking at it…. in one way if you can’t see it OK but in another way…. hey at least the professional guys I had tint for me would not have done that!!!!  I’m doing the tint now but hey, we weren’t THAT bad!  Have no fear JD, I won’t do anything like that with your new tint…….

Before tinting, I need to install Ruby’s toll booth windows.  It’s seldom you have the windshields out looking to install windows so I took Ruby one more step apart removing the upright bar behine the windshield to modify on the bench for the new toll booth windows  Toll booth cedric 2  At the same time I can refinish the rest of the vertical bars in all the windows Toll booth cedric 3This will go together like factory…. Hey, lets have a party…. we brought RC’s coach in for his toll booth windows too Toll booth RC 2RC is coming soon to take his coach out, with his toll booth windows in his restoration could be now called complete Toll booth RC 1Stay tuned for some “glamour” shots of this coach…

So we got Bruce’s thru bumper hitch on, bumper cut and fitted and a trailer harness that matches Bruce’s trailer  Bruce 2 8  Keeping true to it’s name… from this Bruce 2 1to this you can still call it “Mr. Clean”  Bruce 2 7 Actually Mr. Clean is in line for toll booth windows too…. stay tuned for that.

So much HOT fun for the day… can hardly wait, we have 1 coach we need to squeeze in some AC work off the road too so being 8am, I need to get to work.  See ya tomorrow……..
