The Co-op, I cooked dinner

Many of you are really good cooks…. me not so much.  I am great using a toaster….. as scoutmaster you ate my eggs, there wasn’t anything else….. but with Janie spending a day with our son I…… was left to my own devices for dinner last night.

With my Coleman grill clean well, I figured why not… let cook dinner, I mean how bad could it be?  Burning some meat… what could go wrong?  So I fired up both burners….. sliced it up thin and from theres only mob rule .  spam dinner 11  What are we cooking?  We’ll get to that…. slice it up thin and burn it up  spam dinner 10  Oh yeah man… it’s Spam.  One side lined up like soldiers with the other looks like they had a hard night spam dinner 8 Ahhh but pretty soon things began happening, that beautiful crust began spam dinner 5 and then the carnage began… proof Janie loves me, look at the rest of the meal she got for me spam dinner 2  I won’t say how much of it I ate but there is some left for breakfast.  A-1 is the secret sauce, I’m trying to get Beths to serve up a Span burger… what’s your feeling on this?

With this new computer, working from home is a little easier, of course there isn’t as much content here.  Let me get to the shop… I’ll put some more up on my morning walk through the shop…. see you then

Man, maybe I SHOULDN’T do work at home…. when Janie is gone…. it could be incriminating…..  Shhhhhhhh…

OK so at the shop early, Janie’s not home and hey, the cat could care less…. The new shop is taking shape.  In hanger 1… Cal’s pod is on and the body side mold is on  and some wet sanding has begun7.19.16 morning 11Going around Cal’s coach, Nancy and Willie are in hanger 2….. open all around with all hands on that deck installing and sealing of the top rails…. scaffolds closed in … ants on the cake…7.19.16 morning 12  Guys… now THIS is how to do it!  Focus on a project and get-r-done!  It’s taken me over 18 years to get to this point where materials, tools and the project don’t get cramped together…..  I took this key from a visit Janie & I did to our son John in Sierra Vista.  We have badges to get onto the fort Hachuka (bad spelling… sounds like Wachuka)… drove to the back of the fort, next to “black Tower”.  I asked what that was and got no answer.  My son  unlocked a gate covered with concertine wire, walked to a nondescript hanger… punched in his code… felt like Mission Impossible…. the heavy steel door opened….. there were a dozen guys in the hguge hanger, they all turned to see my son and they all went back to their work…. chilling!  But the “shop” was perfect… there were Snap On roller boxes with polished wheels!  Everything was being done from roller tables, boxes and shelving holding parts.  There was room to have a fork lift race around the 3 Preditors were being attended to.  It was Epic… it was inspiring and from that day it’s all I could think of.  I want a shop like that where you can really enjoy your work.  Truly a productive, effective and professional working environment.  Check it out looking in from the back bay door … the palate racks go up today….   Now, if you feel this is the way you want your coach treated … the shingle is out.  Through efficiency and cleanliness quality is much easier and better priced.  It’s all about the money guys…. you will see a shop like this and expect another “0” gets added to the bill.  Come see me and lets see how I can do.  I will tell you Cal’s coach will be the first production delivery in this new process.  How much…. an easy question….. it will be less than anyone else could do the project to the quality finish required.  It is NOT a $20,000 finish but it’s a damn good one!  Cal finals 4  What are you looking for?  A descent looking survivor or a soup to nuts road rocket… we can do it and do it well.

Cal’s and his coach was our lab rat Cal-trip-4  We kept the “Cal Tan” look and more  Cal finals 3  Final pics to come but I hope you have the idea…..  we can do what you want.  Freshen it up without melting the wallet?  Yep, here’s one…. wanna be the bad ass on the block… done that too Mark-near-finish-1  I’ve been listening and now we can do it.  Give me a call and get into our production process.

Dang yes this is advertising  currently guys we have 3 coaches in process, 2 on deck and obviously more to line up.  You guys want it, we will do as much or as little as you like.  Lets see your budget!

This low miles 23′ Birchaven has started it’s transformation

7.19.16 morning 6  Suspension is first… 1 Ton and the rest of the pieces/parts will be multicolor powder coated 7.19.16 morning 8 to include the rear swing arms and quad bag system 7.19.16 morning 7  Right next to a CLASCO coach I helped put together in 1995 7.19.16 morning 5  This is not where we want to go… we are there!  This is through the efforts of many professionals over the years… today, things are coming together … hey, it’s what needs to happen and we have over the decades and I tell you STILL appreciate your support AND your visit today.  Guys, spread the world… the Co-op is open for big business….

And here you though this post was going to be about my disgusting eating habits.  If you waded through all that I hope there was some fun stuff for ya…. see ya tomorrow … hey and I’ll see all you guys going to the Western States rally coming up in Coos bay.  I’ll be staying in a CLASCO coach owned by Jerry W..  Come on over, pull up a chair and lets have fun……

Next time try your Spam with some cooked pineapple, it’s a big seller in Hawaii. Also Spam and eggs. When you tell people about Spam they usually go yuk, but it’s really pretty good. If you have it once in a while it won’t kill you. Think of it as the anti health food fad of the day. Check out the Spam museum in Austin MN.
