The Co-op: Can’t keep us quiet

The phone and lap top still can’t talk but for now I have a back door… Till then the phone can do it all but ill post pic from here first the plunk verbiage on the lap top…..  So you early risers may need to come back later….. Here goes:

Back at the ranch, with a full sized keyboard I can now fill in using both fingers to type and even sometimes a thumb…. boy and I a great plunker!  So anyway, JD’s original Coachmen tool box will still hold a few tools but also will hold 2 bbq grill tanks and a marine style switchover.

  • 20170823_145948 Got the pics backwards, here is what was there beforeJD interior 6  Being the next large restoration for delivery they guys are pitching in together on the coach.  The black powder coated ZipDee awning is up 20170822_115341  And now we fit his new fiberglass 1 piece outside visor before painting20170822_141511
  • Got the lift cleared for an hour to do a mechanical survey of the 4 wheeled Revcon.  Not jumping in line, we do the evaluation when a coach arrives to at least know what we will be up against20170821_083250  With a reported true 30,000 miles, even a deep look showed aging gracefully waiting to be used.  In other words I could say it’s been in a time tunnel waiting for someone to pay it some love…… well brother you made it!  This really can come back to be a cool machine.  Stay tuned for more on this project as we get to it. 20170821_083625So after putting this project aside for a year…. customer was doing other things….. our upholstery folks are finishing out the interior of the 57 Belair stretch limo    20170822_090453We’ve had the puppy packed away waiting to fire the project back up.  This will go back into the interior lineup so you’ll see stuff pop up when we get there. 20170822_090434  Decisions were made too on the “jumper” Ford pickup.  Was bought at auction but one thing the new owner didn’t know 20170823_065224 was the “jumper” title meant the violent movement of the 4 wheel independent air ride system would break your back if you actually sat IN IT when the up button was pushed!20170823_065236  We reduced the air line size down to the 1/4″ we use on the coaches….. That turned the extreme down a bit.  Re control the system, build in a cool cover/ floor for the bed and an interior and this beast will be useable…. follow that one.
  • So the guys are all over 3 GMC’s out back with mechanicals, JD’s awning is already in base and I figured a way to put up pics…….. the world is good.  Sorry bout yesterday’s rant…. without this to let go of some of my days stress boy, I need to make sure to come here as much as I can.
  • Steve M. coach is in mechanicals with new seats on the way… you will be following that progress next.  See ya tomorrow and thanks for the visit.  I can see from the increase in visits there’s something here, foks are coming…. hey, leave a comment … if you have one.  I like to hear from you and get some input.  You do send an Email or 2 but we could maybe attract others to get involved if they can get into a comment thread…. hey whatever…… the internet is sucking our will to live….. like the Borg, resistance is futile so lets just ride the wave…. Kawabunga dude…. totally!!!!  See ya tomorrow……
