The Co-op, been a clean the shop weekend

Sometimes no matter how crazy things are you just have to stop and clean up!  Hard to do that during the week…. having all this work and all but hey, when it gets knee deep you havta stop….

So I’ve heard from our naysayers I’m just bragging when I show the shop and all the guys working like ants…… well, I would say I am proud of the facility we have  and the customers believing in us with all the coaches but I feel it’s important for those already with a coach but maybe even more for the new and wannabe owners that yes, there is a dealer community that CAN help you with your dream machine.  I say “community” and I mean that, we all need to work together in such a niche industry or we would all suffer….. you guys because there would be no way to support your coach…. ask a Revcon owner…. and the idea of actually using a vintage machine like this would be impossible.  You guys may have forgotten, these babies are pushing and over 40 YEARS OLD!  What other old machine like this does ANYONE trust today!!!  Even Maytags don’t work this long!  So it’s important for you guys to know we and others are out there to help you.  The folks with coaches in here can be a small part of the fun at least watching their coach along with the others getting what they need.  Hey, this is fun to show you guys stuff around here and who knows… you might even pick up something……. anyway I see plunking here the mornings as just a good thing for all of us….. if you don’t like it, jealous, or just don’t like to see someone prosper then brother I feel for you… as you push the “Esc” button…. goodbye….. BTW, there were 371 of you already pinging the page when I came in this morning….. got some early risers out there!

Down off that soap box, we’re cleaning and moving around the big house.  The guys put in a central plumbed air system in  7.31.17 morning 7  1/2″ service to all the columns running through the main floor… very nice  7.31.17 morning 5 with reels every other column…..

It’s spacious in there moving coaches out  7.31.17 morning 3We have 2 main coaches in trim process right now, we want to have plenty of space around these coaches as they come together  7.31.17 morning 4Give you a perfect example why:  I’m working Ruby’s windows now…. felts, tint, frames, etc.  Cleaning then stepping back for a look at Ruby’s back window, dang the thing is fogging!  7.31.17 morning 8  Didn’t really notice it until we got to brass tacs.  Sometimes I get tired of saying this but really…. “I’ve never seen that before”….. usually happens only to windshields!  THIS BACK WINDOW is laminated!!!  All rear windows on GMC’a are never laminated!   Wow, how bout that!  Another historical discovery!   No tribble, I’m heading over to Jeff’s this morning to pick up a really nice set of bumpers for JD’s coach to use as we install his thru bumper hitch, hey maybe I can pick up a rear window for Ruby too….. hey, it’s a 2fer 3 hour drive!  Yes, us GMC dealers work well together, we share parts, customers and sometimes issues.  Feel confident that most anything you need for your coach, one of us dealers can help….

And stay tuned this week for another delivery…(coach heading out back onto the streets….. it’s been a long restoration from this  White-sanding-2 to end up looking like this.

7.31.17 morning 1  white glamour 8

The interior of Savory Brown going from this  Nancy-int-7  and Nancy-int-9 to something like this

white galley 6  and  white-frig-18 but it’s done now and just a few more things and Savoy Brown is heading home to Maryland…..

A good week cause it pushes all the restoration 1 step closer to their delivery.  JD is next with Ruby to follow so stay tuned  7.31.17 morning 2  OK that’s enough for today… if any naysayer hung on I hope he’s happy….. we all DO enjoy being here and doing our best.  Call if you have any questions on your coach, we’d be happy to help.  Call or stop by if you want to learn more about all this GMC stuff, watch our videos on Patreon on our site “Motorhome Rehab Ranch” hey or just come here tomorrow and we’ll do something….. never know what.  See ya then…..
