The Co-op, a trip to our machinist

Yesterday, I too a short ride to see how the motor was coming along on our “full mechanicals” project.  20161227_100926

off to breakfast, will be back soon…..

So at our machinist, he was weighing, caging then measuring rod & bearing ID  machinist-5  machinist-3  machinist-2

The block has been line bored, jugs to 20 over, rods and mains 10 over… a clean motor  machinist-11  machinist-8  The motor had been worked on before, there are properly installed seats on the intake valves but original exhaust seats… we’ll fix that and the vales were showing pitting so she gets all new valves  machinist-9

machinist-6  We’re hoping for machine work done by Friday.  Then Drew Koba will pick it up for assembly  drew-with-motor

NEWS FLASH……………  The next production of our driver/passenger slider windows is in AND the retrofit kit if you guys with early production windows want to have a latch at the front of the frame!  front-slider-jaygee-1 so call in with the order.  Jim K. will also have these for sale.  a Very cool upgrade  ron-first-drive-10  Gotta go, the window order takes up the entire coach to bring them home  driver-slider-window-in-3  driver-slider-window-in-4  I’ll do pics…

See ya tomorrow…..

BTW, I couldn’t post a pic of my coach on Facebook.  I told those folks it would be here…  jaygee-glamour-1
