The Co- op: A big week ahead

Still doing this the hard way.  Posting pics from the phone then adding verbiage from the lap top….. Very frustrating but hey, we do what we have to.  U early risers go take a shower and breakfast, maybe ill have this together…. First the pics:

Here we go……  Near the shop, the last OLD rv park has come down.  One day there were old roller painted trailers all huddled together as they were 60 years ago, next time I looked they were gone!

20170827_09554620170827_09554120170827_095551  But there was 1 saved, unbelievable but this “Vagabond” was saved

I went over to snap these pics and found a guy bedrolled in the living room … the thing is still servicing it’s guests!  Sitting there still looking long, low and cool… last man standing20170827_095146

20170827_095305  20170827_095247  Someone saw something in it and I’m sure it wasn’t the guy I found still sleeping in the living room in his bedroll!  Good luck old friend……

Something else of interest showed up on Facebook this weekend, check it out……

Hey, we’ve got one of those!  With those rear rails long enough, you could pull a new travel trailer up on the back….. A “Class A trailer-hauler!  I like their door on the side, they used a 23′ coach donor.  Ours had to go on the back being a 26′ Hertz handicapped shuttle bus core  Flat bed old big 9  But “Helen & Sam” turned into this Thing-1-awningWith it’s original idea looking like this  Flat-bed-n-trailerNow, why not pull the trailer up ON the flat bed?  I like the idea!!!  No drive train now, the dream IS still alive….. anyone want us to build this for them?  tug o war 7

So this week is another delivery…. last we got 1 out, the nexto to try again after this one but JD is A1 next on the runway .  his custom painted visor goes on today and his new 16″ rims that will give us it’s finished look.  Stay tuned for that!20170825_115508

We have 3 coaches over in mechanical coming out as JD goes back up on the lift for some final work.  As JD moves out…. all coaches in process move closer to their delivery.  No time for those right now…. stay tuned guys, they are coming.  Next week we try another delivery of this coach after a pile more things to get done  Scott ext 17

Stay tuned for that……. OK, it’s 8:06, the guys are here and I need to get out there and help.  Unless it’s really important try not to call today…. I’ll be out in the trenches with they guys….. see ya later and thanks for dropping by…

Oh, we’ve getting 3 Honda EV-6010 generators to folks, putting 1 in JD’s coach too so if you’re interested these are takeouts from emergency standby vehicles.  Generators have very low hours and are completely refurbished….. price seems to hover around $3500 so if you’re interested give us a call…   see ya.

    Hey Jim:

Susi and I could relate to the “hot wife” and generator. Looking forward to seeing your postings on mechanical tear-down and repair on the Green Worm. Mouse chewed through at least one Onan Generator wire. Prior operation was good. New air and oil filter in back of coach. Cheers
