T shirt update and shop pics

That’s right, I’m supposed to make the header a preview… see, I remember James, it’s just different to the way I had done things… change is good…. I just keep saying…

OK, for the folks wanting us to bring back the classic oldie shirt here

The-23'-shirt-2

I’ll know more in the upcoming week but the die is cast and soon I hope to have for you that shirt, high quality, black w/ lt. grey lettering, a pocket shirt with a smaller front logo.  Sizes will be 3,2,1 XL and large.  Call and put in an order and I may be able to specify ones of something.  Told the folks on the internet to Email the order, you guys call in … not to say there will be any other treatment but “buds get the wink…” SJust give it to Shirley when you call in at the shop number  407-857-5777 hey and tell Shirley hello… she has to sit here every day and try and make sense out of this pile of crap!  Sanity is tested daily…

So the routine is setting in for my mornings at least, lemme go process a few pics and I’ll be right back, in other words…

coffee break,
smokem if ya gotm…

I hope that wasn’t used for just coffee,…

So I’ve had folks who have come by for a tour say they had no idea there was so much to see.  It’s kinda normal for all of us around here but I guess I could see how that might be true.  So to that end, I’d like to brag a little bout how the guys have really shaped up this place lately.  I think you guys who have been here before will have to agree we’re on a different planet when you see these pics!

So coming in this morning late, the sun was already up and there was noise coming out of Kevin’s cocoon the short morning bike ride was awesome cleanup-2015-16  Before that though a stop at Sharon’s where along with “nector of the Gods”… iced tea… I even got 2 grapes with my marbled rye toast so man I’m set.  cleanup-2015-17

We’re still working on the office and bets are that there’s no hope for my office but take a look at the shipping bay… a clear and open floor.. those motorcycles are not there, we’re not the humans you are looking for…. cleanup-2015-15  and those are next.. I mean I have to have somewhere for the side car bike!  Daytona-pit-5  We cleaned out this spot for our new full upholstry shop cleanup-2015-10 and we’re about set up with our new “hydrodip” tank cleanup-2015-8 and yes, that’s a cleaned trim shop with open work tables cleanup-2015-9… But wait, there’s more….. Ray, my new trim shop manager, and Brian have their own organisational office… fresh paint on the walls and floor cleanup-2015-13 complete with a view of our palatial estates lot cleanup-2015-11  The AC doesn’t look like much but it does work and Ray is framing it out.

Yes guys, we are truly “cleaning our act up” and our talents are increasing.  Ever heard of “hydrodip”?  Look it up, we’ll be into that soon.

It’s pretty obvious by now kinda like global warming that something is in the air when it comes to these vintage RV’s… and yes, even Airstreams.. check out that coffin fuel tank next to it cleanup-2015-5 .  We are grooming ourselves to be ready.  Getting late in the day so lets end this subject but as you can see the guys are really getting with it…

Kevin’s cocoon had something intersting this morning, got some floorplan direction from Ron K. when he dropped by.  He’s doing a custom interior in he 23′ coach and with the frig location identified, Kevin gets a resized frig side vent ready.  cleanup-2015-14  We’re resizing one of our standard louvered vents to fit tight to the body seam, never cut through a vertical body seam.  Needs that if the twin bed bedroom area will fit Ron-assembly-22.  Kevin really gets all over his work.. or is that his work all over him.  The dust in the assembly bay is like talcum powder on the fresh paint as it cures… keeping the newly born soft and not getting any rash but 5 minutes in there and Kevin too is covered with powder Ron-assembly-23  Oh, the things we do for our children….

Look to the right there Ron, you won’t feel a thing…

Gotta go, thanks for the support.. let Shirley know if you want a T shirt and we’ll see ya tomorrow….
