Remote LED light strips

The new LED light technology from China is overrunning us!  Here is something we’ve been playing with for some time….. remote LED light strips.  Now we’ve been using “twinkie” lights for decades, there were tiny incondescent lights in a plastic tube suited well for indirect lighting behind the cabinets.  It made an interesting light pattern on metallit micro-mini blinds Table done out  Today though check this out.. this is a 17′ of (red, blue, green) LED light pods coctal count 150 connected to a wireless infered remote  LED-remote-stip-1.  You can change the color of this strip to any color on the remote, have the lights strobe, flash, fade… it’s just your basic full color light show!  Yes, the strips can be cut and wired together to put a length over each window.  So now we can have full color and flashing twinkies!  Very cool.  Chauncey (not shown here) has one of these to backlight his awning at night… stay tuned for pics of that. Awning-salute There can be many lighting used for these remote controlled light strips.  How much?  You can find them stupid cheap… I’ve tried those and they broke.  These have a cost of $40 for the complete set… heck that’s 1/2 the price of our old single color twinkies and power consumption???  Hey, they are LED!!!!

OK there’s my morning subject coverage for this post…. fewww, now I can mess around like I usually do and plunk other less important but still meaningful dribble… “but wait, there’s more…”.

Ever seen a rear sway bar do this Guy-sway-bar  Just think about how messed up the rear swing are would have to be on the left side to do that…  Yep, Guy nicked a barrier at a gas pump bending the bogy arm Guy-sway-bar-2  They got it bent back enough to baby the coach in…. guys, and this means you a man named Guy…. turn wide.  Hey, it’s all good, we can fix it…

David and his coach Chauncey has been on the lift (oh excuse me… penthouse suite) for a couple of days David-generator-1 while Hank has been redesigning his 23′ coach generator compartment to accept the Honda water cooled EV-4010 generator.  David-generator-4  First step was to design a suitable slide bracket in that the generator must slide into the compartment sideways, here is the modified bracket in David-generator-8 and slid out David-generator-7  First though the height of the compartment had to be raised to the top of the outside door David-generator-2 then the compartment had to be built solid and sealed David-generator-9  Next the compartment needs to be sound and heat insulated using s chrome mylar backed high mass streamer foam unsulation blanket and screw quilted into place David-generator-5 and with the edges sealed the generator itself should go in today… stay tuned..

RC and his wife Louese took off for the Blue Angel’s Dixielanders rally in Pensacola yesterday RC-to-rally-1  Now all of you should know this coach by now…  RC-to-rally-2 pretty much a full tilt GMC you guys going to the rally check out the new LED volt & amol meters installed in RC’s coach .  Digital-AC-volt-and-amp-met  Of course you will also see a Honda EV-6010 I think also on a slide, reaction arm, quad bag, 1 ton front suspension, roller cam motor, Manny tranny, the meters, Avonite solid surface counters, a Mac dash, Marble tile bath floor, Chrysler minivan front seats, man what else…. go see it at the rally…

Ron-rear-LED-light  Gimme a call…

OK, big day, gotta go .. see ya later…

Jim, You are WAY behind the power curve on those RGB LED light strips. Several of us in the GNC 49ers discovered those about 3 years ago! Just HAD to pull your chain!
