Pinellas Power Products and rail sealing

As I hoped I made it to Brooksville and Paul at Pinellas Power Products… lookm up.  Paul is what I have to say a guru when it comes to our beloved Honda EV-4010 and 6010 water cooled generators.  A very creative and just smart guy he has channelled his focus on this now discontinued but awesome generator.  Paul is also looking to the future looking for something that really works for us but right now we are all Honda all the way.

Talking about smart and cost effective thinking, the light source in his shop are a pile of those inexpensive ceramic single bulb sockets all over the place loaded with cheap LED bulbs  Paul-with-Honda-6.  If he wants it dim or he’s only using part of the shop he simply reaches up and unscrews those bulbs leaving on the onces he needs.  Think about that… in his shop using LED bulbs lke that he may never have a light bill!  If nothing more it was a cheap way to light a room and you will never not know which bulb you need!  Yeah it’s silly but I look for stuff like that…

Anyway, I didn’t go there to inspect his lights I was there to pick up a completely reconditioned Honda EV-6010 generator going into a 12 passenger wine tour bus.  Paul-with-Honda-3  This is Paul and I think you can see how he cares for his children.  This is his portable Honda EV series checkout stand  Paul-with-Honda-5 and his son there behind him.  It’s a family affair business they make an awesome wireless remote kit to refit to most any generator….. it’s a brilliant part and it really works!  Anyway, see that big green tank… that’s not fuel that’s in the huge red roller tank behind it… no that’s a oil filled resistance load and those switches…. Paul-load-bank, 5 of the 6 switches is a 2000 watt oil cooled load with the 6th switch headed to the outlet to the right.  He is set up to plop the EV generator into a slot, connect power and fuel to in the 30 seconds, connedt an exhaust pipe and muffler with 2 bolts and Bob’s you Uncle… brother you can run your generator into the ground!  AND Paul insists on running every generator under 2-4-6 then 8000 watts just to show it runs… oh and this test is not stared until he feels the coolant cap heat up!   I was standing there talking to him not knowing he was wasting time waiting for the radiator cap his hand was on was not warm yet …….. who does that!!!!!   Paul-with-Honda-4  It’s what you pay for with him… he’s damn well worth our support and I’m pleased he’s only an hour car ride and a lunch away.  Guys, if you own a Hondam you need to call Paul and get on his preferred customer list… it’s important!  Having a man like that in your pocket as you live with a Honda water cooled generator is just part of the effort to keep it running, call and talk to him about what he is offering…

So back I still had a little day left, pulling back in I see David is starting to understand some of his coach features.  Next to another coach, he can deploy his armless awning as little or much as he needs to  David-in-lot-1  David-LED-white  We had a redesign of his LED light strip now a sealed LED bar so that should be in the bag today.

In Kevin’s cocoon this morning he’s moved to the back of the coach doing a proper sealjob  Rails-13 removing each ladder and rail standoff… cleaning the old sealant… applying new sealand and new stainless steel screws  Rails-12  Rails-11.

OK, I’ve covered my headline and a bit more… I’m heading off for another meeting on the Campers Music Fest coming up April 1 of next year…. guys it’s starting to come together… you need to keep your calander open…

Thanks for the visit and support, we’ll see ya tomorrow….
