Howdy Partner!!!!

Cooperative Motor Works, inc. was formed in 1997, I hung a shingle out and stared my own business after working with 2 other GMC motorhome specific dealers…. I got it in my blood and boy was I hooked!

The mission statement of this new business was (and I DID write one up) was “There’s a legitimate income derived from helping people” and from there I projected the company at restoring the GMC Motohome.  It’s a great platform for a motorhome for sure but originally they were made a mobile post office like one I have Postal first side 2 that transformed into a promo van for Fire Fight products Larry-fire-Fight-1  More than just a pretty face Lillian-outside-wash-5.The GMC can be a money maker too!  Vortec & Jim  So this is a GMC Motorhome, this is Cooperative Motor Works and this is Motorhome rehab Ranch.  We’re in the middle of updating the verbiage below… read through it anyway and after that just give us a call and we’ll explain where we are today  407-857-5777.  Hey, it’s all bout communication, information and folks helping and enjoying eachother.  Thanks for stopping by and for your support….

Cooperative Motor Works is dedicated to the preservation and renovation of the classic GMC Motorhome.  We have been serving the GMC community for over 20 years offering information, parts and services supporting those that enjoy their GMC coach as well as introducing interested parties to the uniqueness, usefulness and pleasure of this vehicle with great success.

The cornerstone of our business has always been working together with GMC owners fielding questions, offering products and services that compliment their experience with their motorhome.  We pride ourselves on growing the GMC community into an emerging new market – the renovation of the GMC for future service.  To that end, we are organizing the GMC enthusiasts interested in furthering their knowledge and experiences on the coach with the “Motorhome Rehab Ranch” program.  Members of the Co-op are singling themselves out as not only supporters of the GMC Motorhome but also as supporters of the growth and future of this classic vehicle and , of course, the important work we are doing here at the Co-op.

Let’s look at this a minute

A good idea, this can be a forum for finding out specific information about the coach, asking questions, seeing “how to” demonstrations, posing ideas and sourcing parts and services.  We have worked hard to be your link to everything concerning the GMC since our inception and now we hope to focus in more by including you in this web site, what we post, discuss, demonstrate and offer.  We have always said, “this is your web site” and now we really mean it.  You will have input on what we do here.

  Web subjects

All information on all of our sites will always be available and free.  If you appreciate we are offering all of this and 24/7 tech support … THAT’s what joining us is all about.  I’m not going to ever hold information hostage.  Call me, any time… I’d be happy to help…. I’ll let you know if you’re getting too crazy!!!  See I’m crazy too!

“Dave, will I dream….”

Technical support

In the past, I have been as available as possible for GMC owners to call in, talk directly to me about most any subject and I did my best to direct them and help.  This has been great satisfaction for me and a great help for many GMC owners but it has come at a price.  The more I split my time the less productive I am to the point that fielding the phone calls takes on the average of 3 hours per day of time away from the working of my business and answering Email questions takes a couple of hours of my off time daily.  As I said this is very satisfying and helpful to others but I need to control my time better and focus on affording the structure of the company and helping those that support the Co-op and its services. I hope to continue to offer you direct personal access to me and all of the information systems we have provided in the past plus other new forums.  I’m not going to lock away the Co-op and be a snob for those in trouble because helping the GMC community is what we have found as the greatest need but we will spend the time it takes for Co-op Members supporting their needs more completely.  We want to be your networking source and members will benefit more from our efforts.

  Communication

You will have 24-7 access to me personally (now don’t call me at 2AM to ask about cheap gas prices) for questions and help with problems with your coach.  We have been able to help many on the road with breakdowns, parts access and the like.  We want to offer this service and more to Motorhome Rehab Ranch & Co-op supporters.  You will have my personal cell phone number or other access to Co-op help at any time.

  Recognition

Throughout the year, the Co-op prints up pens, bumper stickers, calendars, yada, yada, yada to promote the business.  You will be on the mailing list to receive these items free of charge.  We will be offering a stitched patch for charter members for your hat, jacket, or shirt.  You can put it anywhere and wear it with pride (all I ask is to not sew it over a hole in your shorts!).  When we attend rallies, you are invited to participate in the demonstrations and seminars, maybe even get involved and help.  Wear dirty cloths and you can hang out at the booth and make a buck or 2 working with us.

  Future specials for members

As we grow we expect to offer more special services for our “Ranch Hands”, what they will be is anyone’s guess.  If we can afford to do it, we will – how is that.  I truly love working with the GMC community and enjoy every day (well almost every day) at the Co-op.  Its a dream come true for me having the Co-op and I want others to have the fun I have of being involved themselves.

So, how do I join?

I’m glad you asked and this is I guess why you waded through all that stuff to get here.  We want to make supporting us simple, thank you and in the future I hope to make access even easier but right now here is how you can get involved:

Easiest for now, just give us a call during business hours  (407) 857-5777, we will take your information… sigh you up on Patreon, give you an opening password andget your Co-op pocket work shirt and a care package of goodies out to you.  You join and get all that for an annual $50 donation.  I say donation because the information on all our sites are free… unlocked and available for you at any time!

Yes, I want to help you for none of this… if you appreciate that hey, you know what to do but all this is still here for you!

So, there you have it.  This program is the product of years of listening to customers, watching the needs of the community and acting upon them.  Thanks for reading through our plan and I hope it will be something you will want to be involved with.  If you are interested in joining, give us a call on the shop line 407-857-5777, we’ll sign you up and give you a password right then.

Thanks for your time,

                           Jim Bounds
