GMC windshields & on the road with Fire Fight

Yes,once again I’m defying my computer gurus and not putting a content title.. (fixed it though) hey you drive 10 hours and have someone say that’s not content… in a Suzuki with 350,000 miles… by yourself.  Yeah, we were set up to do a Skype seminar for the Wanderlodge group (WOG) and the park nixed it when their internet system tanked.  So now I will make my commitment in person, I’ll be driving today to Pine Mountain Georgia for a seminar to new RV owners about RV fire safety on Thursday at Pine Mountain RV Resort.  If you live nearby come on over, the talk is at 9am.  Looks like I’ll also be there Friday at least until 3pm so come by if you have a mind to.

This will make today on the busy side and tomorrow I pass the com to Brian & Ray to keep the ship afloat.

Finally got that coffin sized fuel tank back into the 34.5′ Airstream that infiltrated our lot… took it in at a weak moment.  Farly-test-drive-2  Doing the entire fuel delivery system those monsters use an electric pump near the tank AND a mechanical pump on the motor to get the fuel from front to back!  The carb was nasty so we did that too fuel-tank-2

RC came down to give us a looksee on a late idea involving these later model Sprinter chassis vans.  This is a full size topper, full window model something like a 2006 RC-sprinter-2  Note the Maxvent we installed in the front roof, it’s a fully automatic with remote he can control from the driver seat.  This van is equipped with a rear AC.. a big one.  I think I can add a second 110vac compressor to the system allowing it to work with the 6 cylinder turbo diesel to turn off and the system still work.  Doing that, this might be a pretty good little platform to build a coach unlike any others on the market.  Interesting idea….

We also installed windshields in RC’s 26′ coach and David’s Chauncey.RC-windshields-3  You just don;t know how nice it is to have fresh.. not foggy windshields until you have them… like getting new glasses.  RC-windshields-1  Same thing goes for Chauncey David-windshields-1  David-windshields-2

Meet Luigie Louegie-1  Our 13 year old cat is.. as you would expect pretty upset at us.  Very young it may go for adoption.. I mean when do I have time for a cat least 2 of them and this thingisn;t a lap cat it’s a shoulder cat… has to be on your shoulder, hey it’s OK by me…wonder what they guys will say  Louegie-2  Mario Brothers eat year heart out!!

OK, I’ve gotta get the day going and get packed up, if you are in the Pinemountain area give me a call and maybe we can hook up, the talk is tomorrow at 9am, all are invited…

See you guys on the other side….
