GMC seat time is coming

And you know or maybe not one of the great things about being involved as I am with the GMC, one huge perk… of course you would want to have it… but getting real seat time in many different coaches is a real treat!

And even while having to deal with all of the crap that goes along with having a business doing what we do, I still am able to get my ample portion of motorhome seat time.  So lets give the situations I hope will come to a head really soon… I’m not going to let that negative crap rule my life so until Sunday…. I’m on a mission..

It may be paralleled to the Blues Brothers “full tank of gas…. half pack of cigarettes…. its dark and we’re wearing sunglasses”….”we’ve got a cop car…with cop wheels….cop motor……and we’re on a mission from God…. hit it”.  Yep, I’ve done stuff like this before and sure hope it’s not the last…….

This afternoon the journey begins with hopping a plane to Phoenix… to Cal & Roberta’s new digs after escaping Reseda to accompany Cal… Roberta wants nothing to do with this…..

We will be 2 guys in a tub driving his 78 GMC to Orlando and it’s new paint job!  Now this is not the first time Cal has agreed to some of this sort of insanity.  He, Jim G. and I did the rough ride of the Cabana from Orlando to Reseda for it to be in that past aweful TV show “Rock my RV”  Trip-home-31  That trip was named the “Slamacabana” run.  That one took us 3 days to drag that Dodge breadtruch chassis with a wooden crate attached Trip-home-44 not the trip from Hell…. it was the trip TO Hell and Jim G. piloted that log through Dallas rush hour with NO… nada… none… power brakes!!  Trip-home-40  What finally happened to that “motorhome” may never be seen but you can see what the wrecking crew at Rock my RV did to it …. check out episodes of the show and you’ll see it… give ya a hint…. they cut the back off and attached a tent…. I know…

But then for page 2 of that run, Jim & I picked up a GMC in Reseda and drive white knuckle back to Orlando then bringing a coach back for a paint job….. THAT run back was awesome  Trip-home-3  Don’t worry, Jim just shows his enthusiasm in a different way …… To Mordor and back to the Shire…. what I’m packed up for a 4 day run from Arizona should be cake!  I will have to admit I had my share of seat time on that last run… and now I’m getting to do a little of it again…. fantastic!

So yeah, let all the crap go for a while… let it work out or not… whatever will happen can wait til Monday for something much more important…. seat time.

And with the new technology this time I really want to do posts from the road here.  I mean they say I can… OK brother, lets do it…..  Come by in the morning and lets see if my poop is grouping.  Hey and if our other topic progresses I can give it to you real time!  Hey, lets have a live debate ….  answer a few questions for me please….. hey I made the offer

Thanks for dropping by, lets see what happens over the next couple… see ya then…
