GMC Motorhome, Wine tour bus

Good Morning,

This post is updating Ben on where we are on his 12 passenger Wine tour bus he’s been having us build.  Now with our production better defined with this huge new facility….. we have had this project through all of those growing and moving pains.  It’s been really hard doing that all and this one has taken more time than it should have.  What can I say, we could not shut down and move fast, we had to slide in everything but hey… looking ahead we are almost done.

ben-finished-4

The exterior will most likely get an advertising vinyl wrap when the coach gets home.  I mean the black/white scheme is proper for the application but the years have not been as good to her and there are issues ben-finished-3  The part of the project we had was getting the mechanicals to a money making commercial vehicle status and modify the twin bed interior to a well appointed 12 passenger wine tour bus for upper New York.

As you can see, we hive twin digital controlled Dometic Pinguin roof AC units with controls ran to the dash.  We have a small pod for company storage and an awning for a sales booth, display, etc. use.

But nothing, especially for commercial use machine must run reliably…… We installed a water cooled Honda EV-6010 on slides for constant maintenance   ben-generator-1  No pic of it in but this is the insulated compartment…. it’s in there and working great… trust me….

Now remember this will be a tour bus taking Mr. & Mrs. Tourist on a “Magic Bus” excursion in the country sides of upper New York State…….. No Grean Meanies… no Wait that was the “Yellow Submarine” but you know what I mean, a bus load of wine folks, each with their own chiller along the window in those scientifically designed chiller rackferro-seats-1

Remember, now that The Co-op has expanded into outfitting limousines coop-limo-3  coop-limo-2  BOOM…. yeah, we can do that….

Overhead Ben has a custom made … distressed wood properly designed and build by a Wine Servia  (knowledgeable wine expert)   ben-finished-7  Yep… front to back and up front we have seating for 6 comfortably ben-finished-8  With another 3 on each side in the back…. we have 12 plus a driver and tourguide  ben-finished-6  BOOM again, we did it!!!!!

The preflight finals and flooring and we’re done.  Well, we also will have a 4 camera … in/out camera network recording the entire tour…. you know… “slip-n-fall” .  Yeah, Ben is thinking over everything and that’s also why the floor covering has not been done.  What do the insurance folks say to that…..

Hup-hop lets move on.  The dash is the “Mac Daddy” dash with a “double DIN” video screen, full instruments and with the 2 digital roof AC controls and dimmers on 14 50watt equivalent ceiling lights as well as adjustible LED soft white strip lights over all the windows… this will really be the commant center for the pilot and co-pilot   ben-finished-9

Still waiting for the DVR recording equipement….. and again the floor covering this puppy is ready to go earn it’s keep!ben-finished-4  Ben, you crazy idea is upon us.  Took longer and some more than we all thought but here it is.  Give me a call and lets get these final issues done.

This is but 1 of many hospitality vehicles… guess you could call them “Limousines” with a purpose we have been involved in creating and maintaining ….

So hey, yourcial “Money Makrer” is in good company.  There are so many more…. “The Pickle”, a Palm Beach set up as a 5 star chef food cart.  Just more than I can count here.  If you do have a business and you need a company vehicle for shows, exec. transportation whatever… a classic, vintage GMC fits the bill.  The cheapest way to make an impact  big-dog-ext-6 A car dealership tailgate toy….

I think you get the idea… these are much more than a “camper”.  Gotta go, see ya tomorrow….
