GMC Motorhome, we made our first dollar! (updated)

(UPDATE)  Hey guys…. through help from my friends, we’ve posted the intro video on Patreon…. go take a listen.  Don’t pay attention to all the “template” verbage… We’ll  blow that all out soon…. The site is all open for a while so we can both figure this all out.  Alright, see you later…

How bout that, someone pledged $1 when I post a video over on Patreon!  We’re off, maybe not running but watch how we get things going over there.  A head start doing this page for like 16 years already has me going…. this should break us now into video….  “The video killed the radio star…”  the first song played on Mtv……  I need to break out in a similar way.  I hope to give that a go today…. stay tuned….

But for now, we’ve grown to have some morning fun here so I will keep going here for a bit as well.

OK so we’re doing some mechanicals on this descent looking coach  12-9-16-morning-2  Just looking over the coach up on the lift I saw it has grey and black holding tanks…. must have had leaks on the grey tank outlet…. now THAT’S one way to fix it….. 12-9-16-morning-3  So using the adage “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” the patch is holding I think but dude…. the “patch” on the black tank outlet looks like a beehive!  12-9-16-morning-4

Oh my…… not sure what to say…..  I hope he never wants me to fix that…. that answer will have few options..  Holy moly… and with that we’re off to breakfast……

I’m NOT ordering biscuits-n-gravy this morning!!!!  See ya back here in a little bit….

Good eggs… yummmm  So I have a few neat things to run by ya… most entertainment but hey, I hope some interesting content…..

To just drive home that nail in the coffin of “anyone can do an awesome paint job on one of these”    andy-paint-off-6  It’s kinda like popping insulation bubbles, heck Jerid andy-paint-off-9got a big piece going .  Got a pic in the phone you just won’t believe… I’ll post it tomorrow.

Se we’re putting down the carpet floor in the front of Willie & Nancy’s “Savory Brown”.  Here’s the color and this floor insulation we’re using.  white-floor-3. This is an industrial use sound and heat barrier used to quieten commercial manufacturing machines.  1 layer of fiber matted chrome mylar, 2 layers of open cell foam and 1 sheet of high-mass nylon.  One square foot of this composite material weighs 1 pound… thus it’s called “one pound sheet goods”  in-box  $190 per sheet plus shipping and I can get you this stuff.  One sheet will do most of the front and all of the deck… another sheet is used to make a blanket in the generator compartment  jim-gen-4  I’ll show you what the carpet looks in tomorrow…

Gotta go, thanks for dropping by and keep checking over on Patreon at “Motorhome Rehab Ranch”…. see ya tomorrow..
