GMC Motorhome, “Sport Billy heads home (updated)

You Facebook guy are also following “MoHo” as Ron K. and his sons are heading home to Utah…… yesterday Sport Billy too on it’s new crew so Adrian and his Posy took control of the helm for their maiden voyage to Toronto with their new toy  adrian-delivery-24

It was exciting for Adrian to let me finish off the coach with the few things I always thought would have been cool…. the full color, sequencable LED twinkies over the side windows and a full heat/cool aftermarket dash system …. ther train horn was their idea but hey… everyone needs to have a loud horn at least once in a while, well Bunky… Adrian has one!  This rejuvenate project was a blast, thanks man for making it fun  adrian-delivery-21  Man, you’ve got a beautiful example of what can be done to a GMC Motorhome…. this Ain’t no motorhome anymore!!!!!  Good sailing Adrian and you guys keep him off the sidewalks… there are innocent people out here!  adrian-delivery-20  BTW, the blue tape on the front isn’t a fassion statement, they intend to have a custom front wrap done to protect the paint up front…. smart idea……..  adrian-delivery-19

I mean the coach is going to live the life of a limousine and it needs to keep it’s pretty face.  Oh Mr. Demill… I’m ready for my closeup….””

Got a call from Anthony last night… everything is running awesome, I told them I’d like to hear good things on their way home and by golly…. they called me!  Thanks guys… think of me as that guy that always had to go to summer school and never got to go out and play.  These guys will enjoy and wheels off this machine… forget the rest of their cars… an H-1 has NOTHING over Sport Billy!  Enjoy and thanks for the fun…..

Back to our fun world at the shop, Bill D. coach is getting it’s just attention as we narrow in on it’s delivery..  His 23′ rear bath Birchaven bathroom vanity counter is built and in

Lemme download some pics…. be right back….

OK…. Bill’s Bathroom sink counter is in and trimmed out  bill-bathroom-1  We built up the same wood trim we had on the rest of his counter surfaces bill-countertops-6  The rounded outer edge has just enough radius to not poke you in the butt and still match with the 90 degree countertop.  The paint guys are filling a couple of holes that ended up showing… no problem  bill-finals-1  bill-finals-2  His interior walls and overhead cabinet undersides are trimmed out and their recessed systems control panel is getting it’s trim-out  bill-finals-4  We have the Honda EV-4010 panel, LP and electric water heater controls, Battery control to the huge 2500 watt pure sine wave inverter/charger.  A systems monitor for both holding tanks, fresh water, LP, voltage and it sports the water pump switch.  We also have something new… to the right you will see 2 rectangular LED meters…. one gives you DC voltage AND amp drain!  Yep and the other gives you AC voltage and amp drain…. you can actually see the drain on you roof AC…. to the generator…. any time you want!  These cute little meters are $29 each… Gimme a call if you would like one…. or both!  Sprinkled in now with progress on Willie & Nancy’s “Savoy Brown”, you’ll be seeing more as Bills “Dandy Ride”……..

Doesn’t look like much is being done over on Willie & Nancy’s coach.  white-galley-1  Ahhh but look close….. You can see the PVC drain pipe mating up with their new roto-molded, polypropylene grey/black holding tank.  You can also see the hose bib for their new washer/drier.  Inside the cabinets, the electrical (12 volt & AC) are being installed.  The insides of the closet is going in with more than ample access.  In short the guts are going in.  There is some progress you can see, we have the angled frig cabinet ready for assembly with everything fitted  white-frig-3  Today we assemble….

So yeah, “Thu beat goes on….”, more to do, more fun to have and more folks to make happy.  Have a great day and thanks for the visit.  Tell your friends about us here….. see ya later…. .
