GMC Motorhome: More frame rust repair

It may sound like the never ending saga but doing your best on frame repair is important and great care should be taken.  Sometimes it’s just not realistic to totally replace a frame…sometimes you have to the labor to do that is well… much so on some, repair is possible.  Steve motor 4  As nice as the coach looks though, the chassis now rust cleaned out shows where the attention needs to be Steve chassis 23  Stay tuned to see how this is repaired…..

Coming in being the first most times there’s a calm over the place at that time.  I liked pulling in this morning to the flames on Larry…always wanted a vehicle with flames… never thought it was be a motorhome!  9.27.17 morning 1  That’s that 78 rear bath Royale in the foreground I was talking about on the For Sale page….. really, if a rear bath suits ya, this is a nice one……

Bruce H. 78 Ford 250 long bed pickup will be next out  Bruce Ford 20  Even the bed came out pretty clean  Bruce Ford 19 (new tailgate of course).  All that’s left is that &%$#@#@ horn Bruce Ford 18  Also this week the door is fixed on the Airstream show trailer for Lake Nona  9.27.17 morning 2  The door came open while driving and did a number on the door… bent it back in place….

And I have the front and rear headliners built for the 57 Belair stretch  57 reboot 9  Not wanting to have a delicate bowed original headliner, we contoured our own giving more headroom and something strong and easy to keep clean…  Kinda neat, the first panel over the door takes the shape of the fil on the body…..

57 reboot 10  Need to clean up the wiring today, stay tuned…….

So it’s a dry, warm day here in paradise….a good day for work……. The guys are here so I’m over and out….thanks for the visit and support..

it was interesting yesterday evening getting another first call from a new owner.  These folks are very excitied on having a GMC.  Excited on how much interest and information on the internet.  Remember, don’t do everything you read.  We are free to make decisions any way we want…. pay attention and question what you see…… these are fun and very useful machine…just don’t let your enthusiasm have you make bad decisions.  Hey, and if you have a question, ask me…..  See ya tomorrow……
