GMC Motorhome, FiTech updates and Savoy Brown

Savoy Brown’s launch was to be yesterday, hey, what’s the puddle under the back?  White glamour 6

It’s a fresh water tank leak….. no problem.  Willie camped inside the bighouse past night….

You FiTech guys take a listen…. as we learn more about this new self learning system we find FiTech has software updates they like to put into their systems…. kinda like your computer updates ever so often.  Phillip has to take off his shoes now while he downloads from FiTech their latest update to load it in  White glamour 7.We’re updating the 350 and Marlin’s FiTech at the same time Spacleys 350 29 which BTW is hoping to go home today!!  We got the single GM floorplan tank into his 23′ rear bath Birchaven.. finish later yesterday evening this morning Danavan filled the single tank and tested the new maserator system  Single tank 8  DEES PIPES AH CLEANNNNNNN.. and just now sitting in my office I heard Phillip taking the 350 out for a test drive with the updated FiTech software…. I know it was the 350… it has that nervous sound… if ya know what I mean!  We’ll have more on this…

Here are pics of the new GM floorplan single holding tank adapted to this 23′ rear bath Birchaven:  Single tank 1.  Single tank 5

why did we do this? As they say, a pic is worth a thousand words  Single tank 4  That was the black (poopy) tank…. good this all is up there now  Single tank 2  As you can see, there is a secondary bayonet base 3″ connector when there’s trouble with the maserator but it is to the left with a clear, reinforced 1″ pipe hard mounted and held in a sleeve up the driver side frame rail  Single tank 6the 3″ outlet pipe serves to connect the sink and toilet to the tank before the big gate valve.

Can’t wait for Phillip to get back… my turn next!!!!. Spacely is picking the coach up today for a 1000 mile family vacation… we’ll know pretty soon how the rocket Olds 350 does  ….. stay tuned….Spacleys 350 30

BTW you FiTechers, uploading software is easy… unplug your screen/controller, take it inside to your lap top, plug them in and go to the FiTech web site.  The download goes to the controller, plug it back into your system and you download the file from there.   A snap, I like the fact the company is keeping up with new advancements…….Get ah FiTech……

FiTech 26So the day is on, 8am and all the guys are out there, Phillip took off in the 350, sealing up 1 coach, checking a fresh water leak in Savoy Brown and it’s outa here…..Oh, here are final shots of Savoy Brown’s interior.  I’ll tell you about them after the pics:  White glamour 4Willie has moved in but we still cleaned up a bit for these pics…. the galley  White glamour 2the dinette and bunk/sofa

White glamour 1  White glamour 5Yessir, the name “Savoy (top shelf) Brown (that’s obvious) really fits …. check out the angled frig cabinet with overhead systems monitorsWhite glamour 3

From the brown/silver headlight baskets and grill White leaving 1  White leaving 2 to the clean wiring to the double Zip Dee awnings to the custom built, in house chocolate upholstery  White seats 3 this is truly top shelf brown…. White leaving 5

So much more to show you but I gotta work…. see ya tomorrow with more and thanks for dropping by…..
