GMC Motorhome, Finished interior door panel

So I probably should have put this pic on the last post but I ju wanted to stretch out the explanation enough that you my not see it.  Here it is then lemme talk a little about it:

White door 7  So here is the door, lock and latch mechanism adjusted… I always install a new lock and key… I mean it’s close to 40 years old and If It doesn’t work….. there you are……  You can see the refinished panel there on my work cart with the cover panel for the lock mechanism access if something does go wrong.  And here is the panel on  White door 6

You can easily see that the access opening would be of great help if the mechanism jammed.  Never say never… build in “countermeasures” to help you when something goes wrong….

Supposed to rain a but here in the sunny south today… humidity will be up but at least the “feels like” temp won’t bake us….  I hope to rescreen the original Birch screen door Nancy and Willie picked up.  Painted brown like their stripe.. new pins and bushings the door sure is coming together.  Stay tuned for more on this.

The paint team will finish the layout on the black on Bill’s 23′ Birchaven.  Here is the paint scheme we’re shooting for Bill-color-8  Lets see how the guys do.

It’s still a little early, think I’ll do some of my stuff this morning before the guys show up.  If ya need something give me a call… have a great day and thanks for dropping by…

BTW, Jerry P is coming to Florida with a 30.5′ stretch all behind the rear wheels… it’s a bigun but bet it drives badly…. get a quad bag system on it… maybe it will straighten out!  Good luck man. send me a pic.
