GMC Motorhome, “Elvis” has left the building…

The Pickle has taken our attention like Elvis had been with us, and deserving as him the Pickle has been through a pile of mechanical stuff very fast so getting everything to hold hands and sing together was the goal.  The motor trimmed out, detailed up and our short block made us proud ….  a big ole honkin industrial hunk of meat!  Now THAT’S what I’m talkin bout!2.1.17 morning 11

The same Melling bump stick, lifters and pistons but with it’s new butt we have hopes it will make it to many a food truck gig.  The Pickle had to look good heading back to Atlanta so we gave the beast a wash job  2.1.17 morning 7  Triumphant, Jared and Andy pose in front of the beast that gave us sooooo much challenge 2.1.17 morning 6  and for that last look as it pulls away from the shop…… get on it Andy… go sell some food!

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<  NEWS FLASH  >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

“Elvis” made it to Atlanta with no issues!!!!!!  YeeeeHaaaaa….

2.1.17 morning 4

Thanks for it all… was a fun one… and now we get the “Sundae” back onto the lift for it’s operation of a freash Manny Trans, our roller cam 403 and the rest of Nic’s up to date mechanicals… if you will remember, this is the “full Mechanicals” project we started up some 90 days ago.

2.1.17 morning 3. Phillip will be all over Nic’s drive train when he gets in.  Junior snagged a fresh visor to get painted up 2.1.17 morning 2 so as soon as we get the drive train in it goes back inside for it’s finals.

So as you can see, the team effort we have put together outcomes quality work, quickly which saves us all money!  We have cvut down out backlog over the last year by 50%!  That’s unheard of in this business …. and we’re getting better with the quality folks we have working with us…

Hey JD, here is the built up top right panel for your new Mac Daddy dash.

2.1.17 morning 1  The 4 in line vertical white rectangles are USB ports, 2 chrgers with the 3rd for linking an Apple and the 4th for an Andriod cell phone.  Nic had both and this Pioneer double DIN takes them both for full screen access to each device…. very cool!  I’ll be focusing in on JD’s coach more here…. stay tuned…

Switching over to a little Patrean news, the “Motorhome Rehab Ranch” welcomes several more “ranch hands” to our spread.  Thanks for your support and The Co-op is growing the Motorhome Rehab Ranch with many information videos.  Looks like I still blow out novels here but keeping the informational stuff there I hope to clean this page up somewhat while documenting more for future use.  We’re working on a “Ranch Hand” pocket work shirt for the Motorhome Rehab Ranch…. is Ranch Hand OK… how bout “Cow Poke” or “Range Rider”….. Caballero…. give me some others.  There are “poles” I think on the site… give us some input on video topics and member names too…. it’s all for fun!

The guys are showing up… 10 degrees warmer today but 47 is still flippin cold to me!   Finally for one of you guys out there itching to get in on the ground level on a GMC with alote going for it…. After being used, loved and garage kept for 25 years, the second owners want to find a young family to bequeath their motorhome too.   It was “The Green Machine”, a fixture in Macon Ga. it’s entire life.  Going to a football games, the Green Machine was always a fixture.  Looks … well it had to keep the image of green.  It has an early ideration of our quad bag system that needs some updating, a Honda EV-6010, a fresh Dometic low profile Pinguine roof AC, a maserator system and decades of provenance and love.  What is my offer for your next family member?  We’re looking for a young family that wants to get out there.  If that’s you give me a call  321-299-5707…  guys seriously, these are good bones…. drove down from Macon with no trouble…Tom ext 1

Oh yeah and a 1973 # 732 off the assembly line… can be an awesome machine with some new love…….. see ya tomorrow……
