GMC and the price of fuel

Guys….. you know the adage “gimme dirty laundry”.  In this case, in the past we can’t wait to talk about how much something cost and how things used to be so much cheaper in the “ole days”.  Well Molly, put on your good dress cause we’re drivn’ downtown….. .  With gas under $2 a gallon….. I know it’s really effecting the world economy and with China crapping out this low fuel thing is going to be around for a while… ay least some are saying this….. well then, fill up those 50 gallons and do something good for you coach and your head…. go drive your motorhome.  Drive it everywhere!  Go to the grocery store, take it to lunch, the barber shop.

If you owned a classic 1975 Olds 442, wouldn’t you wanna drive it everywhere if you could keep someone from scratching or stealing it?  Heck I would so get out there and enjoy yourself with your baby.  It’s good for the coach keeping up with the maintenance.  Let it sit and new things will fall off, at least driving it often you can keep up with that…. AND at least you will get more use out of it between repairs…..

Enter it in a car show, you might just walk away with a trophy.  Have a dinner party and take everyone to the movies.  Go to a local  city, county, state or national park, get an overnight spot…. stay all day and head home late in the evening.  The time will be well spent or just stay the night and head to work right from the park.  Hey, spend a week at the park only going home for the mail!   It’s a blast!  Live on the road just outside of town!  Sounds nutty but turn the temp in the house low and live in the motorhome… in the driveway no less.  You will save in wreathing fuel!

OK, so you get the idea, low gas prices makes your GMCV a viable alternative…. give it a try.

The day is on, I’m outa here… see you tomorrow….
