(UPDATED BELOW) Wow, it took a bit to get over pushing hard to get so much done …….. Ah, I remember those days…..

…..DELIVERY DAY! Ouch, bringing huge projects to “done” represents so much work coming together at one time……… Stress……. it may sound ine defending but really, there were so many unrelated issues we’ve found that’s not the best way. Yep, no more full restorations from us…………..we found the most help is needed in the mechanical upfitting and issues. This is what our focus is now………. Motorhome Rehab Ranch is here to help you with DIY projects. We are booked but taking standby projects. Call me and let me help with what you want to get done.

………I………I know most of you guys know that but you guys would be surprised how our coach is being rediscovered! I’d say im on the phone now maybe 4 hours a day…..which means I can yak some more so give me a call! Now youall know……..

.Check out THAT dude! Koehler……. I’ll tell ya more tomorrow

(UPDATE)

OK so what’s that boat anchor? I have found that if I “hover” I get in the way…… Hey, it’s a natural thing and so while the cogs turn I am spending some neglected love on our motorhome JayGee

Since you came here and can leave anytime I get boring………. I’ve been looking at this energy thing while traveling. Maybe not for everyone and after I put this in the experiment may succeed in not working well……. Messing up is part of progress……… Thinking about next year if Janie and I are able to hit the road……. I can here it now, what crazy something is he doing now………. I’m going to back into this new world of energy storage and use. I thought it would be something I can do here as it comes together. Entries on this won’t be every day, this is a project I’m doing on the side……instead of biting my fingernails I can mess with this thing

This was a takeout Kohler generator that was updated to a fresh Honda several years ago. I mothballed it so foe what maybe 5 years this doorstop has been holding down one of our palate racks. A 4000watt, self starting……using now starter!…… The quintessential WWII 1 lung apu! I love the way it looks in fact I’m building this art form onto a palate “skid”. That stand alone “apu” will slide up nicely onto the small tilt trailer equipped with a 12 volt wench. Pulling thing onto the trailer and a pile of other stuff we would want on the open road (no roof pod), we will take it with us cleaning out the original generator compartment to fit the inverter, solar and battery banks.

Does that mean I have to drag a trailer everywhere! We have access to a spare Honda EU2000 portable generators that will run the roof air ….in the hole……underway and it could fit into the original generator compartment……. With that, we can still use the roof AC in town.

Ok….eOk….enough for now on this, I’ll post more as it all comes together. The idea is to use current, lower cost technology to help you enjoy your coach WITHOUT going to the big bucks stuff. Will it work? Give me input as this comes together…..or apart! Inquiring minds and all…..right?

Talk to ya later
