Wow, hit counter number hit the roof this week……was there something i missed?

I find every time the visit numbers go up, there’s some interesting stuff going on in the community…….wazup?

Yesterday we got in maybe a silly engine rebuild part but I bet a bunch of you may want.  Lately, our motor upgrade project have included some cleanup and dressing of the motors.  I’ve always felt these options weren’t a big deal but hey maybe this is something nice.

Not talking about the Serpantine system…..thats important but this, a motor dress up set of stainless steel bolts for stuff like valve covers, intake and all the fasteners you would see on the top of the motor$75 for all of it…… And here I thought doing that would be pricey!  Man wait till you see the motor above finish out with a FiTech fuel injection system, the CVF SERPANTINE BELT SYSTEM, headers and all those SS bolts…..yeah man Tiago’s motor will be a looker!  Give us a call if you’re interested in the stainless steel bolt kit.

Another motor get taken apart and delivered to the machinist yesterdayA non trauma motor it had not failed when it came out…..just low compression and leaking out of every gasket.  Here at the shop, we break the motor down to look at any obvious issues before it leaves here.So it’s off to get all pretty and ground up for a fresh 455 roller cam motor soon.  Mike gave this motor the honor of being his last motor job before he closes his shop and moves everything to his retirement property where he will keep building for us for fun.  He’s like me, he can’t stop working….golf hold no value and I’m pleased as peaches he will still be grinding motors for us……..Forever young…..🎵….So exactly how DO you move a 8000 pound printer 100 yards?  Have a mondo fork lift trailers in and just pick it up……watch your toes!  So what’s this all about?  Here in our complex several of the businesses were shuttered for Covid.  One shop did all the hi end menu etc. Printing for the big hotels…..work gone they were forced to fold.  This awesome vintage printer was too heavy to scrap…..such a waste……we brought that puppy into the big house to set back up and do some smaller printing project Fred had on his books.  A drop in the bucket on what they used to do but with this thing set up maybe we can hold on til all this subsides….. I mean those folks will need menus then….. I think it’s important to help folks when you can.  Stay tuned for more.too bad we have to install the aluminum radiator that will cover all the bling……oh well. This intake will really keep the fi throttle body really cool and cool fuel is a key.  This ports are elevated from the solid valley cover……yes, there will be a doghouse but we’re investigating intake performance for our motors…..stay tunedOk, it’s close to 7:30 when the guys have agreed to start in the hopes of getting a little work in before the heat starts cooking…..wish us luck and we’ll see ya tomorrow
