Thursday was Blursday! An 8 hour drive yesterday……man, im not used to that!!!!!……..

………. 6:00 am and I’m on the road…….. That dark cloud to the right……taking a right to go south I traveled into that monster…..rained most of the way.  Where is my destination?

It’s the next step in us producing sensitized brake boosters in house, Ray is setting us up to do the one trick he’s been doing for us doing the secret mods turning a mere mortal new brake booster to the “sensitized booster” we’ve been using for years.

Like everyone, retirement is next for Ray having his shop for over 50 years.  Let me put it this way…..whats the half life of vinyl lettering on glass? He’s been there a while!  And check out the extent of his collectiondensepacked, there’s even a 2nd floor of STUFF!……..  It’s an exquisite life’s pile of expertise…..like that shoe maker tinking on resoling  some old shoe under a dim light at his bench, here is where all the magic happens in Ray’s booster shopand he’s setting us up with a custom bench like his to give us the tools needed to do his magic at OUR shop……… It’s an awesome thing….thank you Ray……..until our bench is set up, he will continue building these unique highly sensitive original design NEW power brake boosters….$365 and no core is needed.  This is not a rebuilt component …..its all new…ALL NEW!  That’s a big statement to replace an obsolete, no longer available important brake component.  You can’t find better!

Getting home after the 4 hour drive each way to Pompano Beach, I found the shop rocking on…. Check out this new hi Heck 10 micron, serviceable input filter from FiTechIt opens up to be cleaned…..very nice! Our pile of Onan “Trolls” and still viable original fuel tanks…….you gotta keep this stuff!Eleganza decided that bubble wrap was bad…..Jason had to round up the refuseYes sir….the beat goes on around here. This guy came over from our paint materials supplier….the box he’s holding up to the metallic pearl stripe color…..a computer color match.  What color and tint came out of the gun laying the material on the surface?  Even the same pot of paint will come out different depending on spray pressure, humidity and mix.  Mixing additional color you must know what it looks like on the body……we’re needing more base color for exterior accessories…….stay tuned………The guys are really getting into their groove…..the mechanical on this coach is really coming together….the good running motor is apart to block off intake exhaust crossovers, install of a CVF Serpantine belt system, FiTech fuel injection, double roller timing chain, new water pump, aluminum fuel tank, all new bearings and brakes completely renewed……pretty much the workst…….…….…….………  Ok so is that enough GMC fix for the weekend?  I may be able to post more but I’ve got grass to mow…….have a great weekend……

Period….full stop.
