The number 1 reasons for the demise of rv’s of any age…..well now there are scary hi current inverters and all sorts of electrical (class C fire) dangers ARE our refrigerator types most of us use.
That is a simple fact that has been try for as long as I’ve been doing this. Having an automatic fire suppression system (a babysitter) to watch over possible fire issues is something all of you who own one of these certainly need.
Why do I feel so strongly about this? I’ve seen these machines from the inside and out, I’ve seen them burn. I’ve seen why they burned and if you had seen as much of this that I have brother, you would DO something!
I had felt so strongly about this that almost 10 years ago now some fellow GMC enthusiasts got together and saved Fire Fight from shut down. It belonged to a fellow GMC’er so keeping the company going seemed to be a win/win. It WAS for the Motorhome and other coaches as well. If you invest $500,000 having fire measures sold much easier to those folks.
Firefightproducts.com has paid for its existence but not much else. Why? I felt given the good option of protecting our classic investments that more GMC folks would see what I see. I unfortunately was wrong it seems. It wasn’t started as a money maker more of a needed thing….and for that it has been here for us
If one of you investor types would like to support a necessary business in safety, do your part to keep these coaches on the road and save lives……a small exposure would give you that good feeling……call me. Yes, parts of this “retirement” word is to stop that which you are doing and seek out that which you’ve always wanted to do. Well brother it’s my time as as much as I want to keep this safety thing going, someone needs to take this on or it may fold.
Research on the internet, there is nothing else that is available…….really, check it out! You would have the corner of the market! How many times can you say that !
