…….once again the GMC presence had lines wanting to see……. The night found Robert and I outside to sleep in the coach outside with the van dwellers
…….headed back inside now I’ll tell you more about things later
……….
Came in late….had 4 flats on the drive!…….more to come….. No, just lost 1……
(UPDATE)
NO….You how stories grow….just 1 tire but the jack had to be flown in! I’m telling ya man, tiny homes are becoming a thing…..and the enthusiast group is strong.pretty cool looking school bus, complete with the Bluebird Logo and original Bluebird centercaps on Alcoa bullet hole rims and base/clear paint buffed out……very nice ……for a bus.
Again Robert and I had a busy day “touring” the coaches……this was just before they opened the door…..no time for anything but watching folks see a GMC for the first time! You and I may have a hard time wrapping around that but i think they were trained to line up and “tour through” a tiny home they stopped when they came to us which really open many folks eyes……. That’s the fun stuff about doing this…….we are absolutely being rediscovered!
Home now, it was a fun weekend…….. Robert with his coach and me, giving “Rick the Alps” a little exercise. …… Anyway I KNOW you won’t believe this but I had to bug out by 1pm to make Janies Mom, Mary, I got so into talking I lost time and it was 2pm before I bugged out. Robert held the fort down for us to the end of the show……..thanks man
we were both so busy the only pic I got of Robert was him walking in front of “Rock the Alps” to plug in for me.
So there I was…..an hour late to my Mother-in-laws 90th birthday party……. I’m 2 hours 17 min. by Google…….its Sunday, it’s a beautiful day driving a stretch of road I’ve drive for over 40 years………in this rocketsled…….Will “Rock the Alps” do the deed? Did I make the party on time…….? Did the motorhome make it back in one piece? It’s a riveting drama!
Stay tuned for the outcome on the next “”Daily Pose”……see ya then
