You might look at yourself as a shrewd car buyer pulling out all those horse trading ploys…….”offer stupid money then dicker up”…..I hate you guys! I might want you to help me buy a late model car for my wife from any of the Shister car dealers…(you know…buy low/ sell hi) like I said I really hate each one of u!
When you figure you can be a good steward for one of these puppies ….. DON’T try your best to screw the owner who is desperately seeking (you know he is desperate when he has decided the best thing for his beloved “daughter” is to find a new suitable steward to take care of her)…….YOU THINK YOU SHOULD GRIND THIS MAN ALREADY DOWN! I think not!
Give that man the respect he has been a good father and YOU would be proud to take his place? You know that man when you see his ad. The article will be a laundry list of doodads he has felt made him and his motorhome happy over the decades. Pics of the interior will include mauve and woven Roman shades….in immaculate shape. He has priced it between $10-20,000 maybe a little more (I will guaranty he has 2 or 3 times that much in it and you will too if you buy it and keep it a decade or 2. See he does not care about the money, he wants his coach taken care of! DON’T insult this man……..make his GMC experience complete and give the man what he asks or negotiate in good faith and find a suitable, respectful agreement!
Here is what has caused me to scold those that have done this…..especially that if you are from the west coast who flew all the way to Florida, gave a non-refundable deposit getting face to face with a man who has been a GMC club member since before I ever knew what a GMC was! This person looks at this over 90 years old man and slaps him offering him not quite 1/2 what the man asked which was a smoking price trust me! Don’t EVER call me telling me you did this getting a coach owner….I will hang up on you and if you tell me that in person, I will ask you to leave my property! Immediatly!
You would Have exposed yourself as not fit to own one of these coaches. Also, don’t EVER tell me you have ever done this to your past GMC owner….keep your assault to yourself and know Gabriel will confront you about doing that when you knock at the pearly gates! Likewise, don’t ask me to be complicent in your Robbery…….its just not right and if you received your badge of honor doing this I hope whoever buys your coach when you find YOU must sell your “daughter” one day……and that day will come……I hope someone screws you and blackens YOUR experience!

After this man did the right thing and not cave to this “taterchip” and called me for help. THAT COACH IS SOLD! Immediatly at his asking price and I bet he gets a dinner if he’ll take it! An awesome coach lovingly kept over 30 years, dumpsters of money invested over the decades ….only the best for his baby! You reward a man like this and give him good closure and the knowledge he has done his best……I want to make sure THAT HAPPENS.
If you understand all of this……if you don’t please push “esc.” right now!…….we are offering these folks to bring those coaches to us here in Orlando. I will be sure a suitable steward will see and consider your coach!
This is one of the “NEW” things in the New Co-op. We are here to get good survivor coaches into the hands of suitable buyers. No box kickers, no lowballing ….. You cannot “steal” a coach here but I will guaranty something viable to start making your own because they ALL need something and the sale price starts YOUR watch….bring diapers.
Whatever price level….cores AND finely restored coaches too! We do not get involved in the sale…unless we find you one of these jerks…….don’t get your nose up, you know what I mean. No one makes money on a GMC…..money was invested over the decades as a labor of love……..don’t put money into a GMC if you expect to make money on the coach doing it. You invest in your pleasures and your personal fun……..NO ONE will pay you what you have in it…..and he shouldn’t! He needs to start his experience with a fair and happy handshake. If you understand this you could be the right stuff to have one of these.
If you think I’m being too whatever please do not look to me to help you find a coach, don’t show your butt AND mine too! This stuff is why we are here, its the total package, the experience, pride and just downright fun having a trip in one of these things.

Lil story, after watching the market for over a year I decided on a 75 for sale in Vegas for 10K that had been sitting in storage for 7 years. The owner now lived in Hawaii. After 4-6 months we decided on a date. My flight was late and I arrived after dark armed with a small flashlight & 10K cash. I inspected the frame and all as best I could and it didn’t drip a thing during the entire time it was running. The guy seemed overwhelmed and asked me to make an offer. At that point I knew I could have “really” lowballed the guy, and my friend in Vegas that gave me the ride wondered why I didn’t. Here is why: from my cursory inspection I found 3 stabilizer bars, Hydro boost, polished Alcoas, Mac Daddy dash, Digi panel, tinted windows and a custom paint job. Factoring in just the parts alone, the coach was almost free. I “kinda” felt bad about the great deal that was in front of me, but I took his offer for 10K. He was relieved and I was happy camper. Karma did show up on the ride home but that is different story. I went in prepared to walk away or drive away, haggling would have been a dick move on my part and left a bad taste it the sellers mouth and for what? $$$. From my perspective life is not about the money, it’s about how we treat each other. All those before us and all those after us who loved the GMC like me deserve mutual respect. We all drank the same Kool-Aid. Something to think about.
