Where did Cooperative Motor Works come from?

Hi, My name is Jim Bounds, it was 1991 and I was building stores for Circuit City.  On the road working crazy hours and a gentleman came in wanting me to wire his classic motorhome he was building.  He wanted a big sound system, I’ve never passed up a good challenge so I threw in on the project.  This was the first concept coach of CLASCO Manufacturing here in Orlando Florida.  The complete restoration of the GMC Motorhome to new technologies, colors and design is what we excelled at.  That 3 1/2 years started off my career and I was very proud of what we had begun.

Clasco-Pride[1]1

In 1997, I opened Cooperative Motor Works, inc. hoping to continue the restoration of vintage RV’s, CLASCO had closed opening up a spot in the market for quality full restoration work.  Today, our facility occupies close to 26,000sf.  We have production crews for interior, exterior as well as any aspect of your coach mechanically.  Over the past 23 years of work gives us a unique perspective on the restoration processes needed to bring the classic GMC motorhome back to it’s former glory and beyond.

So this is “The Co-op”, we are here to help you with your dream machine.  Mark-near-finish-11
