…………….soon this coach too will hit the road…..stay tuned.
finally up on the lift, we have some frame issues. Hey and this coach drove in!we’ll pull the wheels off to get a better looksee but seeing the aluminum rim thru the frame……can you see it? Today we see what we have…….. I’ll add some pics later today here on an (UPDATE)……Come back this afternoon……
the coach looks descent, let’s look a little deeper…….see ya then
Important in that this is what you look out for. I have known this coach way back…..the owner has tried his best over the years to keep the coach up for his family use. Had had moved out of country leaving the coach more stored than used. He knew there were frame challenges even had a 1×2″ steel squall channel bolted and welded at the rear wheels to add support.
But there is no support for what you will see.
So on the lift, the guys removed the wheel where the more damage could be seenit was necessary to use a bottle jack on the swing arm in that the shock…..the limiter of the arm movement had ripped out taking with it part of the frame as the event petzelized the shockNot good! With the tire and now shocking shock removed we see a disturbing sight!the shock dismemberment took out a section of the ladder rail AND subframe! Well this pic the shock was still in….here is a full on shot
Yep, you’ll see the good, the bad AND the ugly here!
Oh and guts, thanks for all of the comments on yesterday’s pose……i read them all and really liked some of the ideas and comments…..thanks. I’d like to talk more about them later…..stay tuned.
So yeah, you can’t just this book by its covereven the 4 bag rear suspension has been doing its job so long….they need love tooit’s sad but this one needs to be sent home.
Ok….gotta go, think about these pics today and don’t let your coach go this way.
Thanks for the visit…..
