………..and even harder to finish a thought …….1 day flows on the the next and here we are. Had a couple drop by from up north, the second fresh 455 roller motor fired up on the ground playing that familiar tune “A Red neck Lullabye”Watching things closely as the motor warms up to a healthy pulse
this may be the last motor run in with our trusted 66 Toro front frame clip, already those goofy looking exhaust pipes were scientifically made for our new motorstand
bit this stand has notified so many Co-op/Koba motors the beast has been a valued tool
most of our motors are used in house but this one will be installed in the field up in Colorado in a roaring teaching tool for outlying schools about astronomy. I couldn’t pass up the chance to help that effort
the second motor is going in Ron’s restoration so stay tuned for it and it’s Monster transmission meet
So the road test from yesterday……..numbers on the dash look great and man that Monster trans shifts great! I like the way it stays with 1st and second as long as your foots in the pedal…….is there such a thing as a smooth, firm shift? I guess it just feels strong and positive maybe
Hhowever you describe it, Baby Blue and I went to my turnaround point on my Sunday morning motorbike rides.
I was cool finishing off my Coke & peanuts looking past Baby Blues wood stove
this is a very cool machine indeed
and the test drive went without a hitch. Now we move on to other issues on this project, stay tuned.
The guys started without me……I knew if I got up I’d blow another days post so I’m done now and I have to get my butt out there……see ya tomorrow………
