The Co-op: Waaaaaaaaa………in the 30’s in Florida…….before Christmas………15mph wind????????

……….say it ain’t so, had to pull out the 30 year old Circuit City Roadshop work sweatshirt this morning.  Good thing Volvo knows a bunch about heaters…….it pumped out heat like a toaster!

Anyway, the beat goes on weather the drums are cold or 🔥 so that’s itAnother mechanical project comes up in the Q, interior and exterior production lines are letting us down but Phillip and 2 new guys are pulling the ship for us.  The coach above is the “Tailgater” we put together over 15 years ago.  The panel below the back window hinges down to make a huge exterior storage bay….bed lifted, lp and water tanks relocated the trunk storage also uses the right side rear compartment that can also be accessed from that door……very cool.….still looking sharp and with FiTech, new tires, updated brakes, fuel system, etc. This machine will be back on the highway…..does my heart good seeing another old friend get back doing its thing.Whay is this awesome machine here in our mechanical Q?  In “hover mode” above lemme show you exactly why.  This coach was literally stored away in a warehouse and NEVER USED for a good 15 years.  A couple people came by and looked at buying this but because it sits here without much attention……hey, I can’t spend time (which is really money) to keep customers coaches spiffy like someone making a contracted commission is expected to……..so many could not see past the dirty paint, soiled what close to 20 year old carpet and the fact that the battery was dead.  Please take this as constructive criticism to you prospective buyers…….look past things that are clean and maintenance issues and look at what a coach like this really is!  Guys, a buff job and renewing some of the things I’m getting ready to show you…….the folks who could see that pot of gold in that cloud is going to have a one of a kind…..always us people looking….super cool, comfortable, reliable and just down right sharp example of what can b done with a GMC for dimes on the dollar!  Not pennies because having one of these is not like keeping up a VW van.

Here, look at this. In his hover mode above looking closer…..man, Delco used awesome stickers when I put those on!  The metal is rusty, may be discharged but u can sure see who made themThose need to go away…..thanks for your hard work, KYB will take over from here.  The brake hoses are not original….u can see the square shaped manifold with the bolt through it.  But they are the early replacements still with the loose bond rubber sleeve that holds water rusting the cremped fitting ends.  Our new Teflon lined braided stainless, UV resistant sleeves will replace those.  Back then the hot suspension set up was the Harrison 4 bagger, today the quad bag system is improved but we’ll probably replace the air bags only keeping the legacy design.  We need to kill the surface rust refinishing all metal with POR-15……BTW, to prove how well this coach has been cared for…..see that a shiney black paint under the grunge on the frame rails……THATS original paint!  Like I said you guys looking to pick up a descent coach pay attention……..this is a barn find restored professionally coach.  I could not THINK of building a machine like this for less than $100,000!  I’m serious guys, if u looked at this puppy for sale and walked…..try better next time!

With its mechanical completed by the beginning of next year, watch out, this bad boy will b in use!

Why am I rubbing this is some faces?  Its a whole different thing picking up one of these things.  Its not about scratching the ground like a chicken kicking tires and telling the better lie……….if you act like that here well, you’re wasting valuable energy……its about condition and what you want to do with the coach.  Don’t buy one of these “just to own one”.  Have a purpose in mind and don’t buy some turf if you cannot commit the time and cash to make it work as prescribed.  Not many banks loan on these so know yes, you will need to put money into them and its not worth much to you until its finished to use..:………

Lemme give you another great example sitting here right now:  I helped put this coach together in 1995 working at CLASCO.  It is a complete interior build then configuring a new center galley twin bed, Seperate shower copy of the most popular Royale floor plan.  Completely new in 1995, talking about ready to b bad-to-the-bone again……..its not going to take much!

THESE are where the buys are when it comes to travelling in and enjoying a GMC today. Get one of these outfitted they truly are “the cheapest toy in the box”!

This is the proven fact that drives our business and why so many want to have one of these…..not a tied but a nice one to use.  So you guys looking to buy cheap and spend cheap and try and use one of these…..make sure you have AAA and have someone follow you!  Rigging one of these to work tomorrow and only fixing something when it falls off?  Good luck with that brother!

Ok, the cold day is on, I need to move around and warm up……..see ya tomorrow
