The Co-op: Today I’m on a road trip

Ralph needs a pit stop before heading to Monster Transmissions to pick up our installation.  He’s using a little oil now and I have a cocktail of tranny liquids to keep him backing up.  The odometer only turned half showing the6th digit….a 5!  Tail lights burned out ……..again….both of them!  What’s up with that?

One thing now is nice each morning….early before dawn when I get to the shop to open up I’m greeted by L, our newest team member.I had not thought of having a pet that could eat me…..just saying that Metiforically……….so sweet and loves people….no, not for dinner but she would find other pets a nice snack.  Cats, squirrels, raccoons are on notice……..and the term “bark is worst than the bite”…..I haven’t seen the bite part yet but the bark might prevent most from experiencing the later……..

A shop like this and a team like this needed someone like this.  If you bring your pet, she is fine tied up….I think that tells her she’s off duty so I would still say we’re a pet friendly place.

Anyway, yesterday was a blurt, I warned you I’d have to steal plunking time when I could.  Getting ready for a road trip like I’m doing today peaks my energy for some reason so stopping horizontal polarization was easier to engage this morning.

Its part of the upcoming rally so Tin Soldier got some fast track work.  His first wash job was kinda like watering a black rock with windowsi guess you could call this our first non customer (Jared’s creation) on what that off road, hot rod, extreme vehicle customer is looking foryoh know……like you hear on all of those builder shows…..”something different”.  We gotchur different.  Above….no bumper bolts, no center bumper seam……hugged in…..bumper cut out for a stainless rectangular exhaust tailpipe….LED tail lights of course and a secret compartment to the right you’ll hear about later…oh and all covered with epoxy texture liner.TI’ll booth windows, same bumper treatment as the back…… One of Frank’s grills duded up with red mesh again epoxy coated similar to the surface of the moon!Old school 16.5 steelies with moons and spats. And talking about a cleaned off firewall…….…..this coach is completely wired sporting a unique “knockdown” epoxy light textured finishand yes, that’s a 350 Olds motor, an off shelf $300 Summit aluminum radiator…no motor fan with a 12 volt fan box on the radiator.  You can also make out part of the upper structure supporting the kneeling air bag front wheel system.

Yup, its a runner with 4:10 gears from Applied.  This is some of the stuff our next generation might just add to a coach for their lifestyle.  Come to the rally and see a really unique interiorOf course I’m more conservative opting for P-51 sharks teeth and diamond plate.Oh, alright if we must..Ruby will be with us to prove we haven’t lost our collective minds .TYhe rally should be a hoot!

Yesterday we also had Scott head out after finding his brake master cylinder got completely contaminated all but looking his brakes.  Had been @ 1-2 years since the last fluid flush….it happens even to a matching that’s kept like thisArthur is hand rubbing and polishing the GadAbout.  The original Coke paint job is still good but pretty thin so not hi speed buffing wheels here! The Tail Gator is up on the lift now as lab rat for our skunk works crew…..can’t tell he what there doing or I’d havta kill ya…….. Stay tuned for some big news!  Here’s the scene of the chrime before it beganOk, gotta hit the road…I have many miles to go and not much time to get there……………..
