The Co-op: This will b the mother of all weeks

BTW, I had tried to post this the weekend….don’t think it went…… There is a new link on our main page right next to the “Daily Pose Blog”, it’s “Video Blogs”.  Thanks to our new web master corroboration all of the videos we produced under the “Motorhome Rehab Ranch” are available there.  We will be expanding this page so take a looked and stay tuned.  The format is still a bit cumbersome…..we’re working on that …..its all free .

Now for the subject today……it will be a difficult week.  We have several deliveries with 1 big project I’m concerned that could have some gremlins.  This will always be the case if any project of this size is properly shaken down.  We’ve talked about this subject before but to make things work one more time must happen.  Stay tuned and please don’t call this week unless u really need some input.  A one armed paper hanger will be following me!

Here is a project I need to head up… Each of us here have our specialty and mine is the wiring.  Never met a wire I was scared of…..my Mom said I stuck a coat hanger into a wall socket before I could walk……..figures!

Here is another project that will be delivering soon.  Yes, we work on several coaches together to keep out processes moving.

This is a recent purchase 78 Royale rear bath with some 12 volt primary wiring issues .  My lap top won’t talk to my phone again so im plunking on the little screen today.   Oh well, I’ll SOW u a pic of the coach when I can but this is the view under the passenger front hood .  The split system was rewired to 1 battery out of necessity, the dash AC blower motor had failed and was blocked off.  Primary wiring needed isolation switches, the blower relay had been bypassed and basically the wiring needed some love.

  • I broke my own rule last night and came in to wire this up because I need to move the coach out of the middle of the shop to bring back in the big delivery coach.   every wire sporting Scotch 33+ underground cable as insulation was installed new.  We have a new blower motor and relay, we have the usual upgrade battery switching for 2 living area and 1 engine battery with disconnect switching.  We also installed a combine switch to connect the 2 circuits together if need be.  When u run outa 12 volts the party is over so being able to buds power when needed is important.  This project is complete so reinstalling the wheels we should be able to pull the big project for its finals.  Even with a 20000sf building things get clogged up!  Since the lap top dunked out, here’s some pic of the coach.  Still sporting a carb we’re doing what is needed to get the coach operational first.   Nice paint and strong mechanical this coach should be one of the coaches to also go home this week.   New tires on Alcoas, quad bag, fresh paint…bearings, brakes, fuel system rebuild there’s a pile of needed work in this 1 too!  They all need this work……

Deliveries are important things…..so much must be considered…..this is why the shakedown is such an important part of any descent project.

Ok, I need to get going…on in early to do what I can, the customer is flying in tonight…..wish us ALL luck………I’ll see ya tomorrow with an update…..Dann the torpedoes, full speed ahead!
