Kinda like getting a new toothbrush only to find you must have been scrubbing the old one like a floor polisher compared to the damage you’re doing with the new one….EuuuuuWWWWWW! MY PHONE DIED!
And it’s funny I wanted to get a pic of the ole girl, scracked face and all but it seems it’s been taken from my sight like that last look at our dog as you have to put him down, the new one is here and now it’s a suaree trying to figure out how to relate to this new one.
Oh great, I can’t download pics yet! I had to do it… I missed 11 phone calls, 3 of them twice in a 4 hour period! Hey, still if you get a message right away on my phone… just hang up and call right back…. the Borg is trying to assimilate me! We’ll figure it out……
I do have some stuff for this morning but tomorrow…. I need to get this new thing working…… you guys seem to rely more and more me putting up pics of progress….. hey, there’s no way to show all that’s happening….. that’s all I could do to do that! I work too so if you have not seen anything in a but, we’re still on what track we’re on…. each time we finish one project it puts another closer to the door. Pics I lost in this shuffle yesterday are 2 new intakes…a 4 wheeled Revcon and a Palm Beach made it in from Arizona…… I’d show you but this phone/camera thing has me screwed up but I want folks to know our labor flow has made a fundamental shift…. new stuff gets in the process line and is worked on in order. First in will be first out and so on. We have 2 fresh projects in mechanical….. our bottleneck is out 1 lift…….. paint and interior isn’t quite so held up but projects in house are not effected by new projects coming in. Have no fear.
So what DID I get out of the phone before it’s head popped off?
Hey… I got something! Check out the next subjects going into our process About as clean, well kept and original of a 4 wheel Revcon complete with early 455 Olds Toro drive train…. and a frightfully (in a good way) original Palm Beach. Mechanicals will always be first…. get an evaluation and start the process. We now have a company puppy (will NEVER go into a coach) but is a great security help, Phillip his owner and our mechanic checks out how clean this puppy really is!
This project will be FUN! The palm Beach is an old friend….. we know just what to do to bring her back to glory…. follow this project if YOUR ole girl is in need…
We have a decision we need JD’s help with. We received his new scissors sofa but his LP compartment presents a problem The mechanism will not allow for such a huge fixed and sealed compartment
Our proposed solution is to convert the outside LP door to a small outside storage using the rest of the interior as inside storage. Remove the while maybe handy but space sucking tool area back into the LP compartment GM intended it for but Coachmen took away.
Now don’t blame this on JD…. Coachmen envisioned more exterior storage… maybe not a tool room! Considering this I would also suggest using the 2 DOT tank system perfected in the marine world. 2 small LP tanks with an auto switcher…. when 1 runs low it switches to the other where you can go exchange the cylinder….. think about it, on a boat it sure is easier to take a cylinder to get filled than take the boat!
Looked for a pic… sorry but stay tuned…… the system fits descent… a few mods but with that the LP system runs on 2 standard LP tanks.
The day is on and I’m in it so see ya tomorrow….
