The Co-op, the last 5% take 15% of the work…

Just so you bikers out there know… it’s said bike riding in Florida is “year round”…. lemme tell ya brother, that 3 1/2 mile ride was all I was looking for in the way of feeling alive this morning.  In the 50’s…. yeah I know….

But the saying is true or at least it seems like it…. the last part of any big projects seems to take forever tightening up loose ends and what-not.  Monday we deliver the project “Full Mechanicals” if you’ve been following along.

Let me first make sure you understand, no one was going to loose their lives if we didn’t hit the 90 day target for the volume of work we took on.  No ones anniversary was going to be missed or permits expire……. that sort of stress should never be engineered to be involved.  I actually said 4 months first so we set up a target of 90.  And at that, working closely with Nic as bottlenecks occurred we have pulled it off…. because of the cooperation.  Another ole sayn…. “sugar works better than a switch…..  On custom stuff like this it’s true because quality work cannot be forced, it has to be from the heart….. oh now I’m gettn too mushy, forget that one but you do have to care!

Whatever,…. Nic’s coach is cleaned, buffed out, and lookin good Nic finals 2.  Nic finals 3. Nic got a new Mac dash  Nic finals 1  Hot shot radio and the driver sliders as you can see from the pics above.  Also what you can see is a new Zip Dee awning, touching up and blending the descent but damaged paint and a new visor.  What you can’t see though is the quad bag sustem, fresh fuel system, complete brakes, fresh transmission, a freshly built 403 roller cam motor from our skunkworks…..  basically.. “full mechanicals” as the title of the project was.  This coach is a part of Nic’s family named “Sundae” and now Sundae can give back to the family unit….. and guys THIS is the way to do it.  The goal here is a machine that only needs to be watched and maintained.  As diagnostics were in the 70’s…. Sundae will do it’s best and this GMC Motorhome has been reinvented.  Thanks Nic for your support, your help and your trust in our abilities……. so let me ask you… “what’s in YOUR motorhome?”

So you may ask what am I doing today for fun… well Fandango’s facelift is my object of frustration today.  You can see we have the front hoods finish, the nose section brought out to correct and I’ve got 1 of the “Halo” headlights in…… So hi ho it’s off to work I go…. Spacely is dropping off his bundle of joy for some work  Spacley-10.28.15-1 and another coach is getting dropped off.so I won’t be bored…….  Looks like an awesome day afoot here in Florida , I hope you have a good day too… see ya later and thanks for your support…..
