The Co-op, The ants have gathered….

This part of any restoration is where the rubber meets the road!  We all snicker at “the last 10% of a project takes 30% of the time”  and “it ain’t nuthin till it’s done”….. Having a team who can all jump in on a project, cross trained to be able to help eachother to get things done…. never had that but now that we do I tell ye brother in makes all the difference.

Fandango is at the point I need to not show as many pics so the “Wow Factor” isn’t lost before the reveal……. just let me say it’s really about there.  I think I get to go drive it tomorrow!  Stay tuned…

But the project I’m talking about ant mobilization is on “Rock the Alps”, Andy’s subject of frustration is getting it’s new face as we speak  as Nathan throws up the back door I flipped on the lights and took this pic3.29.17 moning 1  I tell ya one thing the previous owner had good sense to do…. he had installed one of our Fire Fight Products SS100 auto deploy foam fire suppression systems  3.29.17 moning 2  Hey, at least someone out there is listening, fire systems should be mandated for old motorhomes… for any motorhome for that matter.  We laugh about this but Ralph, the engineer who designed all the fire systems Fire Fight has ….. he had a GMC and one day he was at the shop and said….”I’ve lived in all kinda of places, on a power boat in Ft. Lauderdale, is a aircraft hanger, houses, apartments, tents and I think that motorhomes look like a mobile campfire looking for a match”!

I got off track but I gotta agree…. it’s why we have Fire Fight Products… I felt carrying on Ralph’s idea was a no brainer…….. take a look at the SS100R4 and the SS30 on the web site …. no foolin prices are getting ready to go up… I know the owner of the company…..   www.firefightproducts.com

Burn GMC 2But this should not happen to “Rock the Alps”…. the face is being put together, yesterday we installed a pair of our new top-to-bottom from slider windows  3.29.17 moning 4  I think wet sand & buff happens today.  3.29.17 moning 5  “Mr. Demil, we’re getting ready for our closeup….”

So finally… all the hoopra over from the birthday.. another year older and once again the trauma happens also once again each year…. the tage renewals!  3.29.17 moning 3  See Janie is right, we can only have 2 GMC’s, with all the rest of the rolling stock we couldn’t afford the tags!  Hey, there it is…. Happy Birthday!

OK, the guys are here and the day is on.

I wanted to have a down to earth discussion about all these folks recently interested in getting a GMC… so look at it right while other don’t and I sure want to help that out.  Come tomorrow and let me see if I can carve out some time to talk about it a little.  Maybe I’ll try a Patreon video on it.  Oh one other thing…. guys really… if you enjoy this mornings plunkings really go through the hassle and go to our Patreon site “Motorhome Rehab Ranch” .  I know you gotta get off that comfortable internet path.. I’m really the same way but guys, remember the first song played on MTV……” Video killed the radio star”.  That’s right and video will take over information sources like this page here… lets say it can be equally enlightening at the least.  Go pull up patreon.com , get a password just like Facebook… it’s free and go take a look.

OK… I’m out….  Hi ho, Hi ho… it’s off to work I go…….
