The Co-op: Thanks for dropping by……

It’s a rather long sort of a dead end run to come down to Florida to see us.  Yesterday Tyler T. dropped by from N. Carolina to check a “FLN” (that’s funny little noise!  4.5.18 morning 12  Nice coach, his FLN is a low oil crank bearing knock.  Until oil pressure fills all the bearings, one bearing has too much movement until the oil reaches it.  Then the noise goes away but feeling the oil pan the FLN is muffled by the oil.  He’s saving up aluminum cans for the repair.  These coaches will drive broken….good thing, it gives ut time to plan things.  You should also be so lucky.

If you would like to come south and visit us, we have 11 slots with 50 amp service….first night is free coming by, after that only $10 a night we’re the cheapest way to stay the night in Orlando.  Give us a call with your reservation……

So yesterday I showed you the coach with it’s rear cap off.  Our goal is to remove the interior…complete 4.5.18 morning 14 .

Plan 1…remove interior and that’s what the guys did!

4.5.18 morning 10  4.5.18 morning 13 Phillip (mechanic) pitched in to make it happen  4.5.18 morning 11   Everything comes out4.5.18 morning 8  Today that project should end….throw 4 guysat something is like ants on a cake!  Stay tuned to see what happens to this protect…..

So I’ve been showing you parts of the restoration process on this Airstream travel trailer  4.5.18 morning 1  There are so many new finishings available today….better living through chemistry this trailer is getting a complete interior makeover but without having the ability to remove the inner walls and headliner the past has always been making cover panels for the interior.  This new ida refinishes the interior in a different way.  Our new varisable texture gun gives us awesome options.  This Airstream interior has been completely texture coacted….Monotone hard as woodpecker lips finish covers many sine and gives us a clean palate.  Main bulkhead walls were also installed and shot at the same time.  Take a look at these series of pics to understand the finish:

4.5.18 morning 3  4.5.18 morning 5  The bathroom and shower is fabricated with marine Starboard and is @ 1/2″ lower than the main floor level  “droped shower pan”.  4.5.18 morning 4  We’re very excited on the labor this process circumvents……stay tuned…….  4.5.18 morning 6  Here is the texture of this interior process 4.5.18 morning 2   The first (engine) battery is reinstalled in #3 dash AC/heat project….4.5.18 morning 7  I got in my foxhole getting the #3 ATC fuse block installed  4.5.18 morning 15  Today I hope we can get the passenger dah pad refinished today because the MacDaddy panel is finished and ready to intstall……stay tuned……..

Got through the day in 1 sitting….no “page 2 today…thanks for dropping by, tell your friends if you enjoy coming here and we’ll see ya tomorrow…….
