The Co-op: Still holiday work scheduling

What can I say, to keep good workers they need time and between Christmas and new Years…… hard to use your boot!  Been interesting I’ve had many wannabees and new owners come by keeping me busy showing and talking…. gotta go it… think back when YOU were trying to figure out how to get one of these things.

We have an EMS show to get the remount ambulance done… here is the old Ford F450 chassis next to the new Chevy diesel ambulance prep chassis…. out with the old…in with the new  Remount 1 16.  Remount 1 15 Next time you see the Chevy it will be loaded with the box….stay tuned.

In between all that I did get time on Ruby’s headliner panels….. more prep sanding and filling old holes

Ruby headliner 45.  Ruby headliner 43 The top caps are finishing up with the rear cap textured Ruby headliner 44  Vinyl dye has been ordered so soon you will see the finished result.  Our upholsty folks are moving along on Ruby’s interior base wall panels Ruby headliner 42 This form of custom restoration has to be done one panel at a time… cut, fit, finish, insulate THEN install.  We are now at the fit stage Ruby headliner 41  Hey, that red nuclear duct tape is really holding the harness!  One of my brother -in-laws was in the Navy on Boomer subs… he said they had and used the stuff all the time…. it was called “EB-red”.  OK then, we’re using EB-10……… sounds cool!  As soon as I get the front cap prepped and textured we’ll fit these caps as removable   Ruby headliner 46 Stay tuned… all that’s coming……. Cedric is getting excited seeing Ruby come together…… Santa is even interested, there’s a clock that Cedric found under his Christmas tree ruby clock 1  We’ll build in a clock recess at the entry door for it….. hey, ya gotta have stuff like that!

Have another wanna-bee coming in today… brought his tooth brush….. this is how you learn about these coaches…….. I’ll be with him much of the day…….. we’ll see ya tomorrow….hey and thanks for coming by, out hit counters are saying more of you guy interested in what we’re doing….. thanks for that support….. see ya.
