The Co-op, special tools (updated)

since it IS Sunday,  even condemned men get some sunlight…. sitting at the shop alone for 30 minutes, a frothy beverage at hand, I thought I would share with you guys some of the unique devices we’ve come up with over the years room helps out around here.   Not nonsense but not what I would call hi-tech still these are things of out making… at the time…. with what we had to do well at the job.

Yeah, this should not be read at your peak reading time!  OK so first….our 3 legged table…

Yes, the weekend got between us, here’s the rest of what I was babbling about… hey, it was the weekend!

3 leged table 1  See, we have a handicapped program!  The table is a good standing work height… stays right where you put it and if you need to hod the table still, you can stand on the pegleg!

Remember when Dad got that fancy new remote 19″ TV but your Mom had the old console TV matching the sofa and how the new TV sat on top of the old one?  Take a look at our new, fancy, state of the art charger with the ole War Horse doing transportation duty Charger 1 and then there is the “jump bax”.. a cheapo hand truck with a plastic crate for the big ole battery.. backs up nicely to the battery charger cart to stay up  Jump box 1  There are thousands invested in a tool box… mine.. a little less.  The homeless cart does just fine  Homeless cart 1  Complete with paper towel holder and all aluminum Onan work seat.. a 16.5″ Weld rim that broke apart, drop light and ordered tools.

I mean you can’t get on without some of this!

And then there is the cord caddy…. Another moving world composed of a plastic tote, a kids 4×4 strapped sideways for hanging cords and keeping the 50>30 and 3->15 adapter and dog bones….. hey, with 100 50 amp outlets on the building connections are important!Cord caddy 2  So yeah, it was a weekend and that’s some of the stuff we find useful around here…. kinda like using a flat bed truck made of a rotted out 37′ Pace Arrow motorhome to move last year Miss-Piggy-in-the-house-11  Hey, watch this… hold my beer……… yes, we are proud of our special tools and what they do for us…. so it’s Monday, lemme see if I can get into something.  Lets talk about it tomorrow….. see ya then…..
