The Co-op: Something new we’re working on………..

Before that……check out the crazy “original” roof AC cover.  Along with some more rare obsolete parts for this 1972 Revcon 250.looks like we’ve got some period luggage too!George Jetson would be proud and it WILL give this coach that certain somethingJohn D. brought his previous restoration project for that periodic resealing of this flexible……..full of seams and joints………GMC body.So this is something many don’t consider and become upset when their coach starts leaking.  We replaced the window rubbers….now shrunk.  When we painted the coach during the restoration, the rails came off, it painted separately then sealed and assembled for this day……so we can pull these seals that need to be periodically resealed.  The cross seams at the back and front sections of the roof are aluminum/ SMC plastic “overlap” seam.  Sealing of this seam must be put on top of the seam.  UV kills everything over time, this seam was sealed during the exterior refinish.  I betcha it’s time the sealant we put on needs to be replaced.  I haven’t looked how the window frame to body seal has deteriorated…..could be.  Sealant over screw penetration are probably deteriorated too.  So amour body were built unique for sure, there are always drawbacks on new ideas.  Seams and seals must be checked and assume at a point it will need to be resealed.  Ill maybe do a video on this process, might be informative…..stay tuned………

So if you made it chances are your eyes may have been effected by “Mutsades” our new motor/transmission run in stand.  What a fun tool to drive but I just wasn’t napping with the original Mercedes black side snorkel air cleanerwell….. and all the motorheads will agree is totally useless and inconvienant……but I gave in……i was going for the Quesenart blender pitcher…….may be better but a funnel like this makes many statements!  Don’t hate me……..now comes a trunk redo.  Stay tuned…..

So if you made it through all that, thanks.  Now for something new, something that we’ve pretty much been forced to get involved…….

This week we have had 3 no 4 couples wanting to learn more how to find a coach they could live with……While I’m happy to and invite folks to come see us to learn more about these coaches.  Its great, my librarian mother would be proud of the videos and stuff.  I feel honored that so many look for that thru us and certainly want to do more……these coaches are worth saving…….we call them “The cheapest toy in your box”……ok, I saw that……..no need to cuss!  Having ANY motorhome is NOT a cheap date!  BUT….. The utility and fun quotient compared to the money you invest……..that’s cheaper to do with about any GMC you find.

Yeah, sounds like a salesman…….in sorry…….but wait, there IS “a legitimate income from helping people” is the mission statement in the business plan I actually started this seething pile 22 years ago.    Maybe way to altruistic for my own good……..still there have been able to help many find and enjoy their coach.

Folks all the time now are looking for coaches and calling us to help……ok, lets do that.

No way I’ll take time here to explain this…….I’ve already expanded your pupils enough…me too……..come back tomorrow for an explanation of this………see ya then
