……….wonder why my posts there are so long. Well, I usually don’t say anything and just lurk but when something comes up and after several posts the answer doesn’t seem aparent or the thread starts getting dangerous is when I chime in. I just don’t want to see less than good information to those that are there trying to learn stuff.
Eggs eronious could give someone botulism! Some stuff that goes up is simply wrong while other stuff folks recommend because did it that way. Hey, that’s fine but don’t let those trying to get a clear vision on what its about get tainted information.
I’m sorry and don’t mean it If some get upset but just because someone did it does not mean its the best way. Its human nature to tell about what you did and that’s great but please open you mind and thoughts to maybe other ways to do things.
I don’t say what I do is the only way but I will tell you that in trying to make a living at this over 28 years, I can’t waste time or money doing things and have to do them again. I have looked hard for many years trying to do my best for projects we take on and though there are many ways to do things after a while you figure out what works better. I’m happy to share what I’ve learned with you and whatever you do is your decision. I’m always interested in things steely eyed middle men come up with but when I’ve tried something and someone brings that subject up I can’t just sit there.
It makes some mad but please don’t be, in just trying to share my knowledge and experiences.
Its Sunday, I put in some time on something I’ve been trying to work thru for some time:
The original radiator in the Mutcades was just too small for the 455 in the backworking with the edict I can’t spend much money on the critter……Phillip fitted a 5.0 in his 79 Ford pu rat rod
i was eyeballing his old radiator and figured it was worth a try. Who says a Ford F150 radiator won’t fit in a 76 Mercedes 450SL?
so now I’ve got a 4 row American water cooler in the front hooked to the Olds 455 in the back
Hey youall, watch this…..hold my beer……
See ya tomorrow……
