Everything…..has paperwork and so does all this around here……and I have to do it! Good thing the guys can be out there working while I push a pencil!
Wanted to introduce you to a new horse in the stable around here. It’s an underappreciated classic…….back in the day I never thought about these that way….but 1 look and I was hooked………our new “daily driver” at the Bounds house
Other than the fogged out headlight lens, the rest of the car has withstood the test of time….A 1988, heck it’s 30 years old…should fit right in around here! Coined “The Brick” they were not fast, nimble driving…..they just didn’t break. Needs a little love from being a real barn find…well carport find, I passed by the car every day going to work……..one day it had a foe sale sign and it sucked me in
One asset I have with this shop, I have people to take care of old stuff hey so why not get something like this….I mean we can fix it! This is in my era of auto-sound, I already have it retinted with a dbl DIN radio in dash with a 12″ sub in the trunk…….yes sir, it’s a real classic in many ways. Follow this “restoration” as we put “Bonnie” back together…she is already reacing well to the love we’re giving her….stay tuned
OK, back to GMC’s, another 455 motor is out of the machine shop into Drew Koba’s capable hands for building. This one got all new valves We usually do seats and exhaust valves anyway, this time the intakes didn’t clean up well.
Another quad bag system is inalong with new shocks, bearings, brakes and our new 2 wheel emergency brake system. Sorry, can’t sell it as a “kit”. We weld in new cable hanger to accept a replacement off shelf cable. As opposed to making a custom part, we modify the coach to accept late model off shelf cable. I think this makes the system much more maintainable.
After another pressure water leak test, Arthur is washing off the soap suds getting “Rock the Alps” ready for it’s upcoming holiday.
Yeah and the beat goes on. I’m trying to post a couple of coaches on our “for sale” page. Here’s a 1973 coach for $10,00. It’s been maintained as a Gator party barge Check out the tin panel headliner, got a descent sound system and a flat screen up front
Give me a call if you’re interested. And also for that guy that just wants the best, “Fandango” is here for sale
Soup -to-nuts, this is a nice 23′ rear bath Birchaven
Yeah, those are powder coated black ZipDee awnings
Very cool. way to much to talk about on this coach. Serious buyers please. It’s offered at $60,000…….easily $100,000 into it, have something like this for yourself!
It’s rainy, gonna hard to get the day popin…..the guys are here so I need to go….see ya tomorrow
