Day off means it’s healing time from 4 mad 12+ hour days……started it off right this morning.

For me, this will be a very different and exciting weekend.  See, you guys bring your coaches in here…..we beat on them all but then you take away that past object of our frustration and go have fun with it…….Heck, we’re still here with another coach to beat on……….I never get seat time like you guys.  My seat time is spent ears, nose and eyes peaked worried about everything doing test drives!  The absolute worst time to drive anything……..speaking of the worst time to drive something……it has occurred, the still as yet unnamed 76 Mercedes motor test stand is in the parking lotwhat the Heck is that?  If you’ve been reading this dribble you’ve been following snippets on this……..well with Phillip in the seat…..see he’s like Mikey……he’ll do anything……the rolling motor and transmission test stand is 1 more step toward being road worthySo for those that had not as yet picked up on this madness, I’ve found something a team of this caliber needs to be challenged to do neat stuff.  I mean you get stale if all you do are brake jobs all week! So in an effort to actually KNOW a drive train is ready to go in, we can easily…..well maybe 3 hours…. drop the complete motor and transmission together then tune and drive the package before spending the 30 hours of labor to install the lump to find out someone forgot some Jesusclip!i hope to make a trip to the beach in Daytona as the checkout on the drive trains in the future.  See you have to do some of thisto do some of thisWhat can I tell ya……. at least we’re channelling that energy toward something fun and really it has to be about that in this sort of business.  There’s no way you could only do this for the money.  His hand may say pay up but we all know Jessie James is in it for more than the cash!

So for me today is to heal……Oh, forgot to finish a thought before……Janie and I are hitting the road in JayGee…..MY weapon of choice!  New gator skin dash, IKEA kitchen functional and ready to feed mewwe’re heading out to stay the weekend with friends out in BFE Florida if you know were that is.  Got the ole Troll spitting flames……no, I can’t take time to install one of these hot shop Honda EV-6010 like this one in Marco’s coach…

The only thing I have to do today is figure out something more elegant than a sheet to cover the front windows.  The old stuff had come out doing the new galley but as yet….that is unless you want to be an exhibitionist I need to do something for tonight…..Hmmmmm……..LEMME get on this so we can take off….I’ll let u know how it goes……See ya on the other side
