……So yeah, the weekend was relaxing and exciting all wrapped together.
First, a shout out to Jeff Sirum who ran into these gals who had just picked up their new baby. Turned out we had the fuel screw on the FiTech fuel injection a little to hi. Good thing so many have jumped onto the FiTech band wagon….Jeff could see from the MAP reading what was happening, turned the final tune in screw just a bit more and the rocket was back on it trajectory to Mars.Actually named “Hypatia” after a shuttle craft from StarTrec, being pretty savy new owners, they changed the main filter in the field when it clogged up after hitting the road. It wasn’t the filters fault …its our fuel today, it sits in our tanks…causes rust and then there ya go. Probably worse here in Florida guys….always carry an extra fuel filter AND the tools and expertise to change them! Fuel today IS not as clean as it used to be….it doesn’t have too with fuel injection but that along with rust from wet gas……be prepared as the Scouts say.
Anyway, delivery was successful on “Hypatia”, the captain has the helm and first officer is on duty. I have a good feeling about this one:Oh ….right, we’re on to Ruby…… It never ends….one coach is out to see and the next come off drydock…… We have less than 1 month to have Ruby at the GMCMI convention in Talahassee.
the next issue are listed on the window. Pretty much a total renovation….diesel drive train and generator…….too much more to say, follow us over the next 4 weeks…..the ants need to be on THIS cake!
The weeks starts out as each morning does troops assembled at 8am and from there we break!and from here we get to work. My job….keep them working…..see ya tomorrow
