Yesterday was a blurrrrrrr…. I had to do a 4 hour drive to Pinellas to get a Honda sorted out. Starter went out but then we had a “film” that’s funny little noise. It was only 4 months from a go-thru . The delivery was Friday on I’d s coach…..didn’t know this would happen but there ya are….least it happened before he got home. The Suzuki wagon back is perfect to carry a 6010….have had 2 in there! Anyway, the starter was the rear bearing and worn brushes . ..Then with the Honda covers off and a new coil, it spun up fixed..
. Then it was a mad dash back to the shop where the waiting patient was
…on the runway out. Wanting to get a morning run home, JD and his toy just bugged out. Good thing cause I have a final checkout to do on Bady Blue.
.ran into a dirty valve body on his fresh transmission. There in front are the prices of out next 455 motor build Phillip pulled down.
I took the parts over to the machinist at the same time check progress on the motor for one of the “Finland twins” as we call the 2 coaches purchased and slated to ship overseas when we’re done. Here Mike has the block set up for honing. ..it’s automatic and sounds like a washing machine when he lets it go! …up..down..up…….down…pretty neat. This motor is @ a week to 10 days out….stay tuned.
..
So as u can see, we haven’t been sleeping. Which is what I think I’ll do today. Tomorrow I meet “Fandango” up near I-10 near I-75 to get Baby Blue home then drive Fandango back to the shop. Don’t know bout Fandango, it’s the gold, black, red coach rotating on our front page. Back for more cool stuff……stay tuned.
Ok, I’ve waited an hour to be sure JD didn’t have any troubles, I’ve checked Baby Blue til there’s nothin left to check…..time to catch up on sleep…ahhh, a rainy day……see they’re too for that…..Thanks for dropping by…may b able to post after getting home with Fandango…..wish us all luck on this pass-off….see ha on the other side…..
Ill leave u with this pic, I can’t make it go away…..you know computer challenged…see ya
