Had such a great times showing everything about the coach I forgot to take any pics…..she drove like the rocket she is………..the “check ride height” timer is holding it’s light on, no propane in the tank, the light on the water pump switch is out. The fuel injection is awesome and Karen actually asked to turn down the dash AC…with the roof Penguins pumping it was too cold….Imagine that….too cold…in Florida….in the summer…for someone from Holland….man we’re dumpin ice trays!
Today we’re on the Monster transmission install……hell who knows, we just might make this one too….we’ll see.
It’s just rather than racing around we need to be more consistent….we’re getting there.
Please don’t call today unless there’s really an issue, we have work to try and do…..I’ll get pics today.
Last night on Facebook I was talking about the new compressor we’re using…I said UD105…Oops that’s not it….remember this number….59098……that’s the compressor, go to Summit and pick up the really nice adapter bracket set for like $120 or so and you are set. Say so long to our beloved A6 compressor….too old, not reliable anymore. Here’s the compressor in the coach we drove yesterday…AC worked super!
Another was our Skunkworks new off shelf aluminum radiator….still in mockup it will sport 2 electric fans with no motor fan and no shroud…again this is not out yet but it looks good Why something like this? Being off shelf at Summit…blow it out or get the delicate aluminum radiator damaged….Summit ships overnite! I don’t want to incorporate single source parts. This new system will use separate transmission and oil coolers with separate fans on them and cost less than our past options of recore or the custom aluminum option…stay tuned…….
Hey and while we’re over in the skunkworks…..how bout this 350 roller motor with FiTech fuel injection…under the floor…….note the air cleaner goes with the rat rod theme Oh yeah and 40:10 gears….yahoo!
Yeah and here is the roller 403 motor in the coach with FiTech sporting our usual cone air filter treatment …man that’s sharp looking …the whole thing!
Finally …….how about opening your bedroom window with 2 fingers
This was accomplished by something new and Marco you were the one this was for…….We found a rigid steel felt runner that allows more room for the window….less friction I hope to have this in kit form soon…stay tuned…..
OK gotta go….don’t worry, I’m not blowing a fuse I just want everyone to be happy…see ya tomorrow
Cool, Jim. Sooooo glad you were able to find a solution for the frozen windows. I’m sure other owners will benefit from the runner kit, once it’s available.
Cant seem to come up with a A/C compressor with that number.
