…………….I let ya down guys, the charge cord on my cell phone wasn’t doing its job and my cell phone went dead! Insubordination…..I left my duty……. Sorry guys, call back in the morning………
One thing ill say all that solitude gave me some enthusiasm to get some nagging projects moving on JayGee……the addage “the plumbers pipes leak ” is nothing but true for me. Looking at the big window filled with the project listi had best get going…AND…..then with the shop so full of work…….here I am outside in Florida….in the summer working outside
at least I did have shade for a while……
So never call a pack rat a hoarder! I KNEW the drop from the awesome carpet I put in the 26′ Workhorse Duramax over 10 years ago would come in handy. Spec from some hi end interior design firms in Hollywood there was really no pad needed! So now MY hallway is as hob-nob as anyHollywood star off the “Rich and Famous”!and so you don’t loose your way walking the red carpet, we have lightly subdued amber Twinkies to light you long walk
The basement got a facelift…..that’s the cabinet under the frig.
Only missing a piece of trim on the left edge, I used that Tony Lama carpet on the basement door which drops down giving me a work bench……when you work on your knees?
hey, at least your not screwing up the floor while you cuss!
The frig cabinet was going the way of the galley cabinet which fell apart. I took the last of the radius corner trim from the past…..what a cool extrusion but it’s gone to stabilize the frig cabinet and give that curved corner out of aluminum In the pic above you can see the Ikea kitchen, the vertical corner on the frig cabinet and if you look close…..Janie has been know to take JayGee out for girls campout even loaning it to friends…..I’m such a trusting soul……but you can see I put notes all over the place telling someone how to use and treat the coach. Here’s the face of the frig.
and the entry door panel
and you’ll know exactly what this is all about
so I’m left handed and my writing sucks……..you were the one that asked the question…..dummy!
So yeah, I lost 5 pounds in sweat but it felt great and I DID get some things done….and that What’s important………pushing that rock just a bit.
I also cleaned up and got the pit bike ready for the showthere WAS 1 pretty deep scratch on the tank but I cleaned and dressed the wound, I think it will heal up just fine
then So yeah, it was a busy weekend for me….the cell phone is charged back up and on and the world as we know it is fine! I wish……. I just don’t feel like doing much today……I thin I will hang the face of the tribute officers sword display for Janies Dad. I’ll post pics of that on an update below here before I leave…….come back this afternoon for the update.
See ya then…..

UPDATE:
Yeah so now I can feel like I did something and can take off the rest of the day!
So this has been an ongoing project something to do with the spot where the original overhead cabinet was over the dinette ……phewwwwww, that was terrible sentence structure….my Mom would be upset! Anyway, Janies Dad was a Naval officer during Vietnam. “Sailors belong on ships and ships need to be at sea” was his motto but he STILL found a way to have 7 done and daughters! Sorry, too much information…..but he was a great guy, father, Grandfather and even further.
So I figured I would use a sword display to dress up the top window valence and give a tribute to Janies Dad. Still need to connect the 2 LED strings, 1 white for a proper display and rgb lights with a wireless remote and trim the casing but here’s a first look
and now installed
There’s Bob surrounded by black and brown gator skin.
Ok, so this HAS to be the longest post I’ve ever done, hope you didn’t get any on ya!
Janie’s Mom is home from hip replacement……..everyone is over there fussing about Mon. I’m going to sneak lunch. See ya later………
